These parasites have called my cell phone several times with "private" for CID.  It was an autodial machine, so I picked to connect to ask as if I were interested, when I asked for the name I got "Global Financial Group (a professional law firm)" at 866 603 0610.

Let's get a few thousand people to complain through FTC!  I couldn't see a how to report illegal cell phone autodial calls, so I'm using "Do Not Call" registration to report it as a DNC violation.

I just got one of these, too.  I'm gonna try to track 'em down and offer them the opportunity to "settle quietly" before I complain to the FTC and FCC that they called my DNC cellular phone with an autodialer.  You know, them being a law firm and all, they presumably know ALL ABOUT "settling quietly", and I'm unemployed, so I could use another thousand or two in cash right about now.

I know I couldn't be an established customer of anyone for whom they're an agent because the call was about reduction of credit card debt and I haven't owned a credit card in nearly 20 years.

I am glad to see you didnt fall for their scam. I did, please continue to warn. This company has scammed people out of so much money. I wish i would have read this site before dealing with these jerks.
