- G.Lee.HalbesrtsonThat is a scam......file a report of a federal crime. Start by forwarding the email to the local FBI office along with a sentence or two that you are reporting this as a federal crime that needs federal prosecution and that local police agencies are not geared up to investigate and shut down this kind of sophisticated interstate/transnational financial crime organization.

- Ms. BThis is a total scam!!! I received an e-mail stating I had a charges of $499.98. I called the 855 number listed in the e-mail to dispute the charges and spoke to some man named "Ron" who claimed there were two other charges almost for the same amount and that I had taken out a $4,000.00 loan from PayPal "last week". He tried to get me to go to a Target or General Dollar store to buy a card to clear these charges. I put the call on hold and it dropped so he even went as far as calling me back stating the he would hold on the phone until I arrived at the store so he can "walk me through it." I did an on-line search for the number he was calling from and also called the local police dept and was informed it was a scam. Do not give any information and do not go to any store to buy a supposed "PayPal ID Verification Card".
