- MH| 2 repliesCalling trying to pass themselves off as officer's of the court & threating to serve a summons. This is highly illegal and prohibited by the Fair Debt Collections Act. Report these people to your state Attorney General.

- MHOK, get's even stranger. If you google Hyde Park Apt's in NJ it gives you an 877 number. I called it & asked if the 866-603-8661 was a valid number for the Apt Management. They said yes it was to their central leasing office. If you call the 866 number & ask for the Hyde Park Apt's they tell you that you have a wrong number & just hang up. I think the New Jersey AG would very interested in this company.

- TonyaI was called on my work number by 702-853-0600 a woman told me she was a process server for the ACS Group, I was a defendant in a court case for defrauding a bank institution. She said that I have to call 866-603-8661 and refer to a case number. I called the number and they said that my name and last 4 digits of my social didn't match the case and that the case was in Alabama, I live in Nevada. Something is very fishy! Wish I could have someone thrown in jail over this crap!

- Tonya replies to MHHow do I report them?
- TooToo1124| 1 replyI got a call from an "unknown" numer on my cell phone. When I check the messages the lady said that she was Aja Duncan a state process server and she has been retained to to serve me a summons to appear in court for a fradulent check charge and I need to contact the attorney's office at 866-603-8661 and gives me a case number. She goes on to say that this recording will serve as my official notice and that if I don't respond I am accepting all pending charges against me. She ends the call that she will be heading to my home and or place of employment with the proper authorities to serve me.
Are you kidding me? What kind of scam is this? And if the recording is my official notice and I am guilty if I don't call why do you need to come to my house or job, why not just get a settlement against me in court. How dumb do they think people are.- Caller: ACS Group

This company gets real RUDE with you. Gabriella began to threaten and be verbally obscene with me. She hung up on me and then preceded to call me back to back to work. Five times in a row!
Process server is just going to serve you, and NO local authority is going to come with a process server for a payday loan! This company tries to use scare tactics in order for you to pay.
I have told them numerous times to put it in writing the validity of this debt, and they claim they don't.
They have been trying to "serve" me for the last 6 months. I have reported them to the ftc!

- AJ replies to MHWhomever this is just left a message for my 72 year old father who became extremely upset about the whole thing. He was not only upset at them, but at me because he thought I had done something wrong. The message stated that they were going to come and serve me (at his house in a different state) in two hours if no one called them back. So, my step mother called back. She gave out none of my information. They said that I needed to call 877-346-0557 and ask for Helen Hunt, the process server, and provided a case number.
If this is truly illegal, has anyone filed a complaint with a state attorney general's office. Which state did you file it in? The state where my father lives, the state were I live or the state of the company if that information can ever be found? - GThis ACS collection agency called my fiance making threats about being an officer of the court, and threatening legal action if she did not pay x amount with a final pay off by x day. I called them and found Mr. Bennet 866-603-8661 etc 342 to be rude and threatening to me as well. He hung up on then proceeded to call me back and make more threats. We reported this to the Florida State Attorney General's ofdfice who said this was indeed a scam and fraudulent. I called Mr Bennet (who the hell addresses themself without a first name in customer service?) and told him I reported him and what was said. His demeanor changed to a more professional tone, but he said he would still take action. I told him for every time he calls either of our phones I would call him back ten times to talk about the weather or the itchy spot on my backside. Ignore this fraudulent company!
