This call is from the Law Office of Patenaude & Felix.

These are the rudist, people ever. My child told the person," that my mother is not available and you are speaking to a minor who is 12 years old. Caller then said, "Did your MOMMY tell you that she doesn't pay her bills"?

This so called "Law Firm" doesnt seem to be capable of putting any claim in writing... you have to wonder why that is.

These people will  call your employer and cause problems.

They leave a voil message that is inaudible except for the part about 3 seconds to discconnect or acknowledge debt. Not sure who this collection call center works with.

These people call all the time.  The message is inaudible and not loud enough to hear what they are saying.  It sounds like a woman and my machine cuts off before the message is complete cause she doesn't speak loud enough to be heard or understand.  I think it is from a law firm collection idiots.

Got a call and messege left from a lady named shantell. Coild barely hear her. Called my husband abd said she was with a law office but she said it softly so I couldnt understand. Left this phone number to call back and said she was a debt collector wirh an attempt to collect a debt. She left an extension of 7699 to contact. Wouldnt say what for exactly.

From what I've seen these guys can be pretty relentless.   They actually file suit against debtors, unlike the ordinary debt scammers that talk big and don't.  Fighting these guys in court could be expensive.

I agree CW, from what I've been reading, this Patenaude & Felix law firm are nasty dealers, sounds like they play down and dirty with stuff..  If you google them, lots of stuff crops up.  Folks getting calls from this outfit should seek a FDCPA/TCPA attorney.

Just fot a voivemail from this number. Just a number on caller id. Vocemail said this is law office of I couldnt understand what he said. English speaking guy. About a debt and gave an extension. Guys name is Richard Miller.

Im constantly getting calls everyday and so is my husband from now two different "debt collectors" at this number. There Patenaude&Felix law firm supposedly. They have five offices and one is in San Diego California where they are calling from. First guy was a Richard Miller/Muller/or Mueller cant understand last name. His extension is 7715 and  Hes in san diego. The second guys name I think is Tony something. He said it so fast. His extension is 7699. He just now called me. I dont answer numbers  I dont know. I let it go to machine. Two totally different guys at the same place or same phone number different states. I dont know. They wont tell me exactly what its about and im not giving out any info.

Sure, for the collection agency. I only wish I had a company like this hounding me. I could use another few months of rent paid on their dime. Blatant tormentors like these violate consumer law with every other breath. Violations equal leverage in counterclaims and/or for a consumer plaintiff.

Assuming the same debt claim was made before, last summer you were due a paper letter briefing you on the debt and making required disclosures regarding your dispute options. If it came with illegal defects or never arrived, that will speak volumes of the kind of goons you're facing. If you want to know more, study the official-type material linked previously.

I am compiling what I can on these cretins, but it will take a bit since I need to check records in every state they claim to have an office in.  My guess is that they have an agreement with more scumbag attorney thieves in each of those states since Patenude is not registered anywhere but California.

It sounds like this Law Firm possibly had their phone number spoofed! I've had my number spoofed and have actually had my own number call me. Do not answer any call you don't recognize, and query the number here or other similar sites, for future reference. They will call back, and once they know they have a valid phone line they will continue to harass you. You will have no choice, but, to change your number and even then, you could be called again as they have no idea who they're talking to. Next time you get the call answer it with a Blah, Blah Police Dept. or a air horn or answer it with their own name, That should get an interesting response!! LOL Best of luck

Well all the information I have so far points to a pattern of these criminals violating the FDCPA.  Information has been given repeatedly on how to deal with these scumbags.  If you actually think that horns and whistles and threats of the police will get you anywhere, please proceed and let us know how that works out for you, especially after these cretins sewer serve you and you end up with a judgement against you, which they are known to do.

You assume a real law firm is a victim, which is not a given. Dirty debt collectors are known to maintain many aliases and DBA names to diffuse their lawbreaking, thus delaying punishment by regulators and citizens alike. Also factor the practice of "flatrating", essentially when frauds pay some podunk lawyer to use his name and letterheads much like a product licensing deal to fool victims into paying.

If all I do is run away to another phone number I'll inherit the trashy callers clinging to its former user, plus my own tormentors will soon discover the change and resume where they left off.

No choice? I don't change my phone number for anyone. In years past I've had idiot collectors calling here twelve times a day. Another seized my phone line during a medical crisis. Those companies found the hard way what I mean by "stop calling" and how Congress intended the FDCPA to be obeyed.
