- Sherrie in FLCaller ID just said Toll Free Call. They never left a message
- Caller: "Toll Free Call"
- Michael| 2 repliesFIA Card services calling about "options she can offer." Not sure if it's a debt collector or a telemarketer selling debt consolidation.
- Caller: FIA Card services
- Call type: Debt collector
- Hate ScammersFIA Card services calling for my sister. Called three times with "options they can offer". Hmmm, wonder how they got my number? (actually I know). Funny thing is that one of the calls came from an India Call Center. Will I tell my sister about these calls, yes. Will I give her the return number(s), probably not. Scam, Scam, Scam.
- Caller: FIA Card Services
- EmilyThe only debt I have is student loans that I do not have to start paying back UNTIL I GRADUATE college, which I have two more years until that happens. They keep calling saying to call back they are "debt collectors." SCAM and not true. Wrong. Weird. Annoying.
- Call type: Debt collector
- CSKeep getting this call and they only call while I am at work about 5 times in a row then leave a message saying they "have options" I have one credit card that is in collections that I am paying off. So I DON'T think so.
- Caller: FIA Card Services
- MarySince I have been keeping records of unwanted calls, 866 607 4978 has called my # 32 times. Each time I block a
# used by these callers, they call from a new #, I block it and they change to another #. I don't owe any credit cards
balances and nothing that they can harass me about yet they have been calling my # on a regular basis--sometimes
2 or 3 times daily since June of last year. Now when this outfit calls I blow an AIR HORN in the phone--so far, nothing
has stopped them. I thought there was a law to deal with this kind of harassing calls. No matter how sick I am, I can
never rest during a day. And another thing, since I listed my phone # with the National Do Not Call, I have received
maybe 100 different unwanted calls since I had added my # to the NDNC list--something is wrong here I'm sorry I
called and added my # to their list. - Sam replies to Michael| 1 replythe sad part about it is, when you block this #, they call back with NO ID showing, and you cannot block that. I received calls from them with the actual # showing, blocked it, then started receiving calls with nothing showing. This last time they put a message on it, and left a # for me to call. They said they were from CIA Card Services.
- dgg replies to SamI have an app that keeps all those unwanted px's and blocks them before they can ring again. Check the app store. Several kinds.
- Anonymous| 1 replyI'm sick of these dirtbags calling me trying to get money out of me they should be working on a job or put them in jail
- Tamianth replies to AnonymousConsider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $40.00 or so. If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number. For tracfone & straight talk:

For text messages: forwarding any text message spam you get to the short code “7726,” which spells “spam” on most phones, to alert your network operator to the abuse. ATT won't accept 7726 But they will accept BLOCK and return a message that the web site is blocked. forward the texts to 7726 or BLOCK, depending on your phone carrier.
