Been calling every hour for two days in a row. Finally answered, and a foreign speaking woman said she was from CG News. Trying to sell me a plague to display local newspaper article I was in.  I hung up...  Reported it to donotcall.gov

you are right, it goes to a company that wants to put my article that recently appeared in a newspaper. They are driving me crazy!!!!!!!!!!

The same lady has called 2x's in less than an hour same woman but she used a different name both times. Very insistent that she speak to the owner of the company because he will WANT to LAMINATE the article that featured our company. When I asked her which newspaper article she could not tell me.

Its' a company in CT that outsources to a call center in another country. The owner of that company was once a customer of mine, and is now trying to do what we do in the US. We do not opperate the way they do. Thay are shadyand have no scruples. They give us a bad name.

It's our competition. They are pissing a lot of people off. Bad english and some people have actually been called 20x + times a day. I have customers that have sent us phone records to prove it. It suck because when we call people are in our face about calling so much and it's our first time calling. They are giving us a bad name too. The owner has called asking if we would buy him out . The call center is in the Phillipines and they have called us to attempt to get us to use them, but as your username implies we here at In The News are 100% US Owned and Operated.

A foreign speaking woman has been calling 3x daily for almost a week. Each time I tell her we are not interested and hang up and she calls back a few hours later. Same type of deal...says they want to print an article from our company and send a plague and that if we do not want to keep the plague we don't have to pay for it. Sounded like to me that they wanted a credit card number to charge for the plague.

Same organization called my main office number and another employee could not understand what this guy was saying. All they left was the phone number and the name Ryan. I alerted my co-workers about the call. I was also in my local newspaper with a photo about 2 weeks ago.

They call many times a day and ask to speak to the owner.  I am not sure how they received our number or rather my number since it is the direct line and not the main number.

Same story, a woman giving her name as Tania Garcia called about an article in a magazine, and wanted to send us a plaque.

These people won't stop calling my work!  We've told them over and over that we do not want to buy a plaque from them, and that we are simply not interested.  They are very pushy, rude, and insistent.

Same here.  I was in the newspaper and now everyday there are 3 - 4 calls from this number.

Holy cow!  It is happening to me too!  Unbelivable. . .

I have been getting that call for the past month almost everyday.. Would not leave a message but will just keep calling.  I just registered at donotcall.com.  Hopefully, they will stop calling.

whew! that explains it. I've also been in the paper and been receiving mail and faxes from a company trying to sell me plaques. I think it's harassing. how did they get all my info?? the stupid newspaper probably sells it to them. Ugh!

They just agreed to take us off their stupid list, since one of their salesboys hung up on me. My boss is in the paper enough that we don't have room for stupid plaques. Get a job, people, a real job where you don't harass people all day!!

Oh yeah, the supervisor that I spoke with when I called back after being hung up on? She told me they read this list, they've seen what's being said about them. Didn't seem to care.

you too hired the same team to call your customers as well i think they used to belong to us at one time
