Answered with My normal, hello?, to which they followed with, hi my name is (Susan I believe) and I would just like to let you know this phone call is being recorded. We are actually calling from a jobless  help data center we see here that you are currently looking for a position… To which I replied I’m sorry what did you say your name was?  After she thought a little too long about What should’ve been in immediate response type of answer she replied that it was Sarah. To which I retorted in calloused confidence, oh Sarah that’s a common name kind a like mine, and I asked her do you mind if I record this conversation for your protection and for my protection?  She said sure as I said I know exactly what  is it that you’re doing…  she pretended to be obtuse even though my voice inflection was 100% proof that she had been had I asked her will there be follow up questions pertaining to my personal information that will later on lead to more phone calls similar to these to gather data to then multiply  into an infinite amount of questions amount of questions possibly spread throughout the nation to anyone who registers similar early as I do on some sort of data collecting score computer registry has to has she ever called her own number And could I have it…She hung up  immediately I kind of feel bad for “ sarusana”  being artificially intellectual that must mean that you can collect or elect or reelect or re-collect internally while knowing that it’s all fake I’m scared of answering the phone these days .

Called and said my home phone service will be disconnected in 48 hours. Press number 3 on my cell phone to speak to a rep.

Called and didn’t leave a message

Got a call, nobody answered my hello. People here said it is Verizon. I guess, it is legit since I just cancelled their service. I am not sure why there was no one on the line though.

Received back to back calls from +1 (866) 841-8679 but no voicemails so I called the number back anonymously, just disconnects. I’ve never had Verizon phone services and I’ve had this number for over 3 years now. Based on the comments from this site, blocking caller seems to be the best solution. Thank you everyone for sharing.
