BEWARE!! This is the most bogus post I have ever seen and probably posted by Mr. Yamamoto himself or a member of his firm or family. Sending out a blind post card without even the name of the company or stating that it is a solicitation is a testimonial to the fact that this is the lowest level of marketing for your services. We have turned this over to the Insurance Commissioner and the Attorney General in the State of Florida and urge everyone to ignore this mailing. DON'T TRUST ANYONE WHO DOES BUSINESS THIS WAY!!

Recieved a post card in the mail. Funny thing other than this being an obvious scam was the card had not been run through the Post Office. Stay away from this illigitimate entity.

I received the same post card.  Perhaps they were forced to put the following disclaimer on the front of the card, because my postcard came with this disclaimer:

Privacy Law Notice. This notice is provided in accordance with Federal Privacy Laws.  The Policy of this agency is to protect the privacy rights of all consumers who respond to this notice.  This agency DOES NOT POSSESS OR DISCLOSE NON-PUBLIC PERSONAL INFORMATION TO THIRD PARTIES IN ANY INSTANCE. If you choose to have an existing policy or contract reviewed by a licensed agent, that agent is also required to adhere to the state and federal consumer and privacy protection laws.  Important information:  This notice is being sent to you as a possible holder of an in-force annuity contract.  This agency does not have a direct affiliation with the insurance carrier through which you are currently contracted.  The agency is contracted with agents licensed to conduct insurance business in your state.  This notice should be disregarded if you do not currently have an in-force anuity contract.

The problem is that I didn't read it.  I turned it over to the other side and immediately checked the number online to see if it was bogus.

Sooooooo glad I did a second search on this phone number. I, too, received a postcard in the mail. It was addressed to my dad, who he passed away 2 1/2 years ago. That right there was a huge hint that this was bogus!

    Skeptical
Just got the post card in the mail today.  I was skeptical since there is no company at all listed and why would I need to "schedule" an appointment—I would have simply received a notice from the provider of the annuity.  Since I don't want to get sued for libel, I'll just say - BE VERY CAREFUL with this, it's probably not what it seems to be.

Received a post card today re an annuity.  Flags went up re scam upon reading the card and there was no company name or identifying information. A legit company would have sent a letter rather than a post card; even specified the annuity that held $$ in your name.  The card is a bait. I called the number and was put on hold after a recording.  I hung up and googled the number.  Oops!  That's what I thought, a bait and scam. Thanks to all who posted, commented, created an awareness about this fraud.

I've recieved one of these cards out of the blue.  Since I don't have any annuity out there,  I know it's
a phish/scam...For the price of a bulk-mailed stamp they probably just grab any info you give them
and sell it to other scammers!

Ya...we all (anyone with at least a brain the size of an ant) believe this story.     It sounds just like a fairy tale that came true.    Right!
