Literally received the same call with the exact same reference number. Get a new job Virginia.

A woman called from 508-841-6593 and left a message regarding to the Federal student loan. Asking call back at 866-618-5151.

I received the exact message with the same reference number.  My At&t flagged also as a telemarketer.

I received this call today(6/3/19) about repaying my student loan also. I have been is college for 35 years and then never had a federal student loan?

I received the same call just now with that same Reference number 088801.  Number that came up on my caller ID was from Deltaville, VA 804-889-1175.  I'm with everyone else that this is a scam.

Received a call saying I have federal student loans and to talk about my options to pay back. Don't have loans so definitely a scam.

“Virginia,” also called me today and left a reference number. I called the number back (which was a different number than the one that called me). I searched the phone number while I was on hold, saw this post, then  hung up. She doesn’t say what company she’s from or anything. I think It’s a new scam. I don’t have to start paying my student loans for another year and a half.

Why would a scammer BUY your phone number when all they have to do is program a computer to dial all numbers in a given sequence?

Well, it IS a scam but it's not new.

“Yes this is Virginia Rogers um I'm calling in reference to your federal student loan I need to discuss your repayment options with some new _⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_ taking _⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_ recently so if you could please be sure to just give me a call back my number is 866-618-5151 and um I'm gonna go to give your reference number if you would just _⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_ _⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_ when you call back I'll make things a lot easier your reference number is 088801 thank you…”

I received the same call concerning student loans and contacted my loan officer. The loan provider does not and will not call. Interesting how does this person know who has student  loans.
