This number calls me everyday at 3:30 and 5:00, always leaves a message for me by madien name (been married for 4 years) and says I must return call immediately.  Has been calling me daily for 2 months.  Voicemail says a woman's first name that I can't understand... Kadeen?  No last name or company name

This number has called a few times in the last couple weeks.  The calls have been early in the morning generally (East Coast time). Sometimes in the afternoon. Never have answered it.

This number is from NARS (National Asset Recovery Services) who has consistently called me for the past month claiming I have an unpaid debt.  First they said I was delinquent on a 2006 Dodge Stratus payment, then about a week ago they said I have a GMAC car loan that is in collections.  Quite a surprise considering I've never financed a car.  They requested I give them personal information to verify, but I refuse to do so because they are a total scam.  My credit reports are clean as of last week.  Watch out for these scammers.

Call your phone service provider and BLOCK them! I had to do that because they wouldn't stop harassing me, even though I told them, repeatedly, that I didn't know the person they were trying to reach and even though they told me that they would remove my number from they data base. Not only that but they had the audacity to get upset when I was rude to them!!!!

I was looking to buy something through Craigslist ( I know, big mistake).  The "seller" asks for me to email my phone number and shipping address. Also, they gave a long and very descriptive email about how they would prefer using eBay and Paypal to handle the transaction.
   Thinking "Ok, Paypal and ebay. This should be safe". I emailed my address and phone number to the "seller". I did not send any form of money ( Credit card, check number).  A few hours later, I saw this number popping up on my caller ID. I never answered. Later on in the day, I received what looked to be a legitimate email from eBay confirming my purchase.  Purchase?????   I never sent a dime as of yet. After carefully reading the "ebay" email. I notice that "ebay" wanted me to go to Western UNION with CASH to complete my transaction.

So, with that said. Whoever is running this scam is very organized. Add on Craigslist, Wanting to use Ebay and Paypal to get some info. Nearly perfect fake ebay emails. Then a [***] collection agency using the phone number that you gave them.

Oh yeah, by the way..In the story line of why they were selling their product..  They said that they needed to sell quickly because they were in the military and was being shipped to Iraq in 2 weeks. Not only they are full of it, They are using the armed services as a front.   Go F yourself  "Corporal  Jennifer Andrews".

Forgot to say..  That number has called me several times in one day, at all hours of the day

This number keeps calling me all hours of the day. It's always a computer telling me to press one or two if I am or am not the person it's asking for. No matter what I press it always puts me on hold. When I finally got someone they hung up on me. I called the number back and the person that answered spoke such bad english I could not understand the name of the company they said. When I don't answer they either don't leave a message or it is a computer telling me to press one or two. If it is a legit company they need to stop calling ME and putting ME on hold.

i got a call from this number at 8:08 am today. No one was there. I said hello at least 3-4 times. Just dead silence. I called the number back right after and it said that the number is not in service. How can that be?

I carry a blackberry to access work email.  The device has a phone number but I don't use it as a phone for work and because I work in a different area code from where I live, I don't use it for personal calls, either.

This 866# has been calling my bb daily for weeks.  I never answer it but I have checked the number on 411.com only to find it's unassigned.  I don't know who this is calling me but I'd stake my life on the presumption it's an illigitimate telemarketer or a scammer, especially when they make efforts to hide their identity.

I believe this is a collection agency.  Possibly tied to GMAC delinquent accounts. So, National Asset Recovery seems right.  Our 1 employee owes GMAC and he gave them our business #.

    I keep getting calls from NARS about a gmac account that is not my account I have told them over and over and I have been asked my social security number over the phone because they do not believe me when I say I am not who they are looking for, I have very good credit  and I pay my bills, and I am not a liar!!! so I wish that this harassment would be stopped

I got a phone call from 800-241-0172 this morning he said his name was Willis from Ally, I looked up the number and I keep getting information that the number is attached to GMAC, I had a car loan with them but paid it off back in May of 2006 and have the title slip of my car that was sent to me from GMAC, myself and my husband are listed as the registered owners, I paid off the car back in 2006 like I said above, so I have no idea why I got a phone call and voice mail this morning for this company.  I owe them nothing.

They just called me for the first time today and said it was urgent. Um, I just pulled my credit report yesterday and I have nothing in collections. And this is a brand new cell number.
