I think they may not only call others / receive calls, but also somehow intercept phone calls to DellSupport. I called Dell but hung up while on hold deciding to wait to handle question. I get call from this number w mssg left saying it was "my" computer support company - they are called "quick techies" and I saw a report on another site saying they charged him very high amounts but he went into a store who said he was scammed.

I've been receiving calls from this number, repeatedly. I see it in Caller id and of course never pick up. There is no name associated with it.

junk call very early in the mornings, no msg left. I never answer these, so that's all I know.

Internet tech support scammers

these people are again calling me, numerous times the last few weeks. I'm sure they are bogus but just curious.

Anyone who calls "out of the blue" about something wrong with your computer is a scammer.  No reputable business is going to call you about computer issues if you didn't call them first, since they have no way to know anything about your computer or devices.

Best thing to do is ignore them and block the number, unless you wish to pay 'dumb' with them and waste their time along with your own. Just don't give them any personal info and NEVER give them access to your computer.

I called Dell Tech Support these guys called I had a simple question he wanted remote in to our new laptop and remove our antivirus he said we had 2 and they were conflicting. Then he wanted to sell us an antivirus for $100! My take is what he was actually after was a credit card number, these guys are NOT Dell tech support be ware
