I did not receive that call directly, but instead received a message telling me to return a call at that number. when I returned the call the person at the other end of the call said I had reached RCR but would not tell me what RCR was. They requested my number and name but refused to give me any information about themselves until I did so. I refused to give them any personal information, including my number again. The call ended with me telling her I was not going to give her any information, and she threatened that they would keep calling my number until I responded.
I looked up the name RCR and came up with a collection agency and a racecar collecting organization. No other information seemed pertinent.

i got a message stating to call them back. i reversed the number in google and found this review before even calling them back. The above review said RCR was the company that called. i reversed the number in white pages and the companies full name is river collection and recovery. they are a collection agency for im thinking a credit card company. just to give anyone else a heads up.

Sharon called and asked if Angela Robertson worked at this phone # stating that I had given this number to them.  Sharon was tranferred to the voice message and left a message with her name and the phone # 1-866-633-6030 to call back.

Continuous harrassment. Phone rep is rude and told me I was mistaken and that they will not stop calling me. I advised them that they have the wrong name and they told me that they spoke to that person at my phone number. I advised that I have had this number for 5 years and she told me that I was mistaken. The rep would not give me a supervisor or an address to write to and hung up on me. I will report this call to my phone companies call annoyance hot line.

I KNOW I OWE A BALANCE WITH RCR AND A LADY CALLS ME ALL THE TIME. SHE IS VERY RUDE WHEN I SPEAK WITH HER EVEN THOUGH I ANSWER MY PHONE WILLINGLY. I OWE A BALANCE BECAUSE I LIVED AT TIMBERLAND POINT AND I KNOW THIS. I'VE TRIED TO SET UP AN ACCEPTABLE ARRANGMNT..200.00 A MONTH BECAUSE THATS ALL I CAN HONESTLY AFFORD.  BUT NOTHING I HAVE TRIED IS GOOD ENOUGHT. SHE TELLS ME THAT THEY  DO PYMNT ARRANGMNTS BUT SHE REFUSES TO SET ONE WITH ME SAYING "MY PAYMENTS ARE NOT GOOD ENOUGH FOR TIMBERLAND" AFTER SO MANY RUDE CONTACTS WITH THIS WOMAN I DECIDED TO RECORD EVERY CONVERSATION. I HAVE ON TAPE HER STATING THAT TIMBERLAND NO LONGER AGREES WITH PAYMENT ARRANGMNTS AND BIF IS DUE, THEY ARE GOING TO GARNISH ME, SUE ME, HUNT ME DOWN AND TAKE MY PAY CHECK, THIS WOMAN HAS LITERALLY CURSED AT ME, TOLD ME TO SHUT UP ON MORE THAN ONE OCCASSION--ALL CAUGHT ON TAPE! I AM PLANNING A LAW SUIT BECAUSE I HAVE TRIED SO HARD TO SET UP AND ARRANGMNT AND THIS IS HOW I HAVE BEEN TREATED. LUCKILY THE ATTORNEY HAS AGREED TO AN "DONT PAY UNLESS U WIN" AGREEMENT BECAUSE HE HAS OTHER COMPLAINTS AGAINST THE COMPANY THAT IS PENDING! SO I WILL CONTINUE TO BUILD UP MY CASE AND CONTINUE TO RECORD MY CALLS. THIS IS ALL YOU HAVE TO DO PEOPLE.....RECORD YOUR CALLS!

I settled with RCR but then they sold my debt to another collection agency ONE AND A HALF YEARS LATER! They, now, acknowledge the settlement verbally but will not send me a letter stating that NOR will they convey the settlement to the agency they sold the debt to. Sounds like some kind of violation.

Same call, from 866 633-6030, a John Durant. I have no knowledge of bad credit nor have I ever even heard of RCR. Kind of scares me!

Garnish, sue, hunt you down and take your pay check?  Cursed at you? And she is still working there? And you caught this all on tape! Well hooray for you cause I don't believe for one minute that she did that! And then she told you to shut up?  OMG!!!!!!!!!!!! You had to be just livid about this!

Call was made to my dad's cell phone and I don't know why they are even calling. My husband and I filed bankruptcy a week ago.

I got a call from Diane at my job on 11/10/09 in regards to a us bank debt that I owe. I informed her that I will call her back,due to me assisting someone at my window,and due to me taking my daughter to her game, I forgot to call her. Diane called again on 11/11/09 and was very rude. I informed her that it wasn't appropriate to contact me at work and harrass me about a bill and asked for her number again which she refused to give me. She took it upon herself to assume that since I didn't call her on 11/10/09, that I didn't want to pay the bill and stated that she was going to take further actions. Because of her rudeness and uncooperation, I hung up on her. I would really appreciate if she or anyone else wouldn't call me at work concerning this. I would also like for her manager/boss to call me at 612-462-1974. thanks and have a great day

Whomever these people are called my grandmother's home and my sister called me saying she gaves these [***] my cell phone.  What's a trip I have never lived with my grandma nor have I gave out her number.  My sister in law has been called several times and it's real ridiculous.  I am a single parent not by choice who can only afford to work one damn job.  I receive NO assistance and am the soul provider for my children.  I have been jerked around and disrespected by debt collectors and don't have a clue who to turn to for help.

First off, these people have been calling my phone for who knows how long and hang up as soon as I answer. Finally one day I called back, and got the lovely Diane she was rude, called me names,told me to shut up, called me a horrible person, and when I asked her for more information she told me that they were going to take further action against me and hung up. I called back, got another woman, she didn't even state her name, she informed me of the situation and what I owe. So, I asked to speak to a supervisor to complain about Diane whom I have talked to twice, and she even went as far as to call me a c**t. The "supervisor" was even worse! I have been making arrangements with the company I owe, and I tried explaining that to the "supervisor" and he called me a liar, threatened me, and called me names. Ridiculous.
