- NormajeanI had received a call from this number also taday and they scared me and threatened me with legal garb. And also gave them my router info off of my checking account and am also thinking about changing my checking account before I get screwed big time. I have good credit and my x doesn't so they said that I needed to pay off the 10,000.00 he owes. They were saying that over half of their calls are about divorce money credit cards as such. I am just fortunate to also notice that I am not alone.

- JoJoCompany consistently calls my house with a recording to have me stay on hold. After waiting for over 20 minutes, the call will automatically disconnect, having never spoken to a live person. They will repeat this the following day and the day after, however I am not patient enough to remain on hold for some shyster more than once.
- Caller: Unknown, automated, phone queued
- sp replies to RobThey just contacted my grandmother that lives across the state saying it was URGENT and they had my social security number?? What is that? I call back the 8966-635-1312 number and its a crazy busy signal. I am not happy someone calls my family in a threatening manner claiming to have my social security number. What should I do?
- Whatever! This company has been calling me for months now (proabably started back in January)at my work, claiming they were a lawyers office, threatening that they had received a case from my county I live in and that they would 'settle' with me for some huge amount of money that I needed to come up with in 30 days. I called the county, and guess what - no case against me. Then the messages changed their tone - it was then that they had a case they were going to forward to my local county court. Get the story straight! I have some credit card debt that I am working with a third party company to try and remedy - which I supplied them with the contact information, but they keep on calling. Basically - with unsecured debt, it is rare that they will take you to court. The only thing they can do is get a judgement against you for the amount, which is something that you know you already owe. They are going to call and threaten and lie and try to scare you into paying, but that is all they can really do - it is just another collection company. Oh - and if they are calling you at work, you just have to let them know to NOT call you there because you can't take personal calls and it will stop (review the fair collections act).

- Brian| 3 repliesCalled saying that i owe money in the amount of 2600 with most of it being from late fees. Didn't say who the bank was or anything. Mentioned an inappropriate date of opening. Checked my credit report and no such thing on it. They keep calling and harrassing. Had the last four of my ssn and gave me a file number. Said that they would e-mail it to me and never got it. What a joke. Just wish there was something we could do besides complain online.

- duh replies to Tired of This| 2 repliesYes, you're right. The collection agency is the scumbag here, not you, the everlasting drain on the economy and general waste of human organs. If you morons paid your bills and stopped stealing from banks, collectors wouldn't exist.
- duh replies to jenSo, you're looking for someone to tell you that its okay to steal money from a financial institution and somehow be slimy enough to hide from it for almost 10 years? Then, when you are asked to pay for it, you make up new excuses not to. Good job, and thanks for being part of this country. Please continue to further the economy by opening up credit accounts and not paying them back.
- Our Useless Government replies to duh| 1 replyIt takes a "Moron" to KNOW a "Moron"....BUDDY!
- duh replies to Brian| 2 repliesHey, I've got an idea for something you could do! How about just taking care of your obligations? Like, for example, figuring out a way to make small payments until you can settle, or asking someone to borrow, or not spending money you don't have in the first place!
