man calling, identifies himself as Blake Saunders and states that the call is confidential, that they've made many attempts to locate me through mail and telephone "regarding (my) account information on file, automated voice comes on leaving a string of numbers and letters that I assume to be some sort of file number. The man comes back on and says according to his records I have failed to respond and now I am "in default status" and he will be attempting to complete "location verification" at my place of employment and my physical residence and to schedule an alternate location to please contact him back at the phone number 855-232-4988 and then simply says "I will be expecting your call". Caller does not identify a company or  entity he is with nor does he say anything about what exactly is in "default status"

Sounds like a third party debt collector of some sort.  If you have nothing on your credit report indicating a past due debt, you can safely ignore these calls.

These people have contacted my family looking for me. Never have tried to call me. Getting them worried. I know what I owe.
