These people represent themselves as Clearinghouse Publishers.  The customer service department indicates they no longer sell magazines, but instead run a sweepstakes of $10,000.  They claim you are a finalist and that it will cost you $129.00 to move on toward the "grand prize".  The $129 will get you several significant prizes, but he would not identify what the prize was.  They claim to be in Atlanta Georgia.  When told that we have contacted the police dept and reported the harassing phone calls they simply hang up.  This is a scam!

yea i just got the exact same phone call. and i actually hung up, and he called back. under a different number. when i told him i think it's just a scam, he just kept insisting that it was a legitimate company and sweepstakes. i've got stuff like this b4....they always want money, and i'm not doing it
