866-639-8662

Verizon wireless (???) called and it sounded real - a service alert on my phone - please call this 866 number and use your phone number as 10 digit id/code. I called *611 and Verizon told me they DID NOT call me today and it's a SCAM!

Just had the same call from this number!!! ITS A SCAM DO NOT ANSWER IT NOLESS CALL THE 866 NUMBER BACK!!!!!!

Same exact thing, identifying themselves as VERIZON, with an URGENT message to call. Hope I haven't given out any info with my cell no.

DEFINITELY A SCAM.
I called the number and after I entered my cell phone number, it basically told me "sorry you are having trouble.  please call again later."  By then they had verified that my number is a working cell phone.  

I called Verizon and they verified that that is NOT one of their numbers.  I'm about to file an official report with Verizon so that hopefully they go after this company which sounds really legitimate but isn't.

I just received a call from 503 505-7854 telling me to call the 866 639-8662. The recording identified as calling from Verizon wireless. Instead of calling the 866 number, I called Verizon. They confirmed it was not a call from Verizon and put a block on the number I received the call from.
