BUSINESSES DO NOT QUALIFY FOR A DNC LIST
the only way you can stop the calls is to stop doing business, otherwise, remove all available contact listing you have, yellowbook, chamber of commerce, cancel your number, maybe try removing your online presence, guess what? you're still on google, bing, yelp, facebook whatever... suck it up and be a nice business owner
and the website www.sbga.com... perhaps you should actually look into it, literally, your banks, processors, etc are overcharging you, check the back of your billing statement, Visa and Mastercard recommend a yearly review due to the rate increases twice a year (did ya see that notice?), plus there are so many settlement claims on your behalf, educate don't hate.

ha ha ha! that's so funny! we know you're the owner and lying most of the time, btw you don't even want to know what your employees say or do on the phone with us, especially with an owner's ill behavior being so easily excused. I've been hung up on and told "not interested" more times than one would care for, however, not all phone calls are bad, we're asking for the owner because the dude who just answered the phone sounds like he had a big fat joint at lunch, or the girl you think is an awesome receptionist, not so much, she just answered the phone and forgot your business name SCORE!!! Owners like you give us "telemarketers" a bad rap, what aren't you interested in? why are you hanging up on me when i introduce myself? I was taught proper telephone etiquette, did you miss that day in class? if this is the way you handle your business with a customer perhaps you should consider the estimated life of said business.
Also, we don't care if you aren't interested, but we would like to educate you as to rate increases and overcharges, check out the settlements you might qualify for as well since the federal government has declared certain policies and charges ILLEGAL!!! Its called karma, leave the money on the table either way, but at least educate yourself before you hang up.

Agreed Mike, we do use google, yelp, bing, even the good old yellow pages; a "list" or being on a dialer is basically a backup for us to cover the macro while we individually do the micro part of the job, Thanks though!

get your facts straight honey, there is no DNC list for businesses. yes, if someone is harassing you with phone calls you have every right to ask them to stop before proceeding with legal action, but guess what, it's only against  that individual company or person, and comes with a time limit, then you're gonna get another call with someone sounding like they're from that first company but they aren't and you're wasting more time, energy and money.  Why not just listen to the 3 min pitch, say thank you but no, naturally we have to try to keep you on the phone but another firm no should do the trick; better still educate yourself and give us some rebuttals, challenge the guy on the phone, get better results for you, your business and really know that you're not interested, rather than just don't want to be bothered!

    1. no we don't make up our names, 2. I think you misunderstood because she was asking about your processing account, 3. Visa and Mastercard do increase your rates twice a year, April and October, did you see that in the fine print of your bill that you obviously comb through meticulously? 4. I've already called you, why waste more energy with an e-mail, you know who we are, google it! it's www.sbga.com if you didn't figure it out 5. we are in no way shape or form your current processor, we admit that! in fact call your processor and ask them if they recommend a review, ask them what the codes mean, what fees are what, betcha they aren't going to admit to junk fees and third or even fourth party processing fees, much less try to give you a refund, besides you've been with them so long you trust them so with all the rate increases over the year you're not even within industry guidelines anymore and what they're doing may be illegal (search merchant services class action sometime, there's billions in settlement trusts) what if someone told you that in 10 minutes you could save 10-30% of revenue?

wow idk where you got your research from but we've been in business since 1995 under the name merchant services (in fact i think our old website still exists merchantservicesirvine.com?), we recently joined the small business growth alliance which has been established for some time as well (www.sgba.com). your anti-virus protect level must be set way too high because we are located in an industrial park in irvine california, there's no strip mall or massage therapy nearby but if you want to buy a new car there's a couple of dealerships close by, if you throw away money on bad research and incorrect (if not absent) information, maybe you do want to throw some more money at a new car
5 minutes on google would go a long way, it sounds more like you're search engine may be in question
    now draw your conclusions

...and that's why we don't bother with the e-mails anymore, our website is much better and will allow you to verify our legitimacy, we call to set the appointment with the rep in your area, most of the time within days of speaking to you, we don't even have to send a rep, just send us the statement and we'll analyze it, it's not even a sales meeting, it's an educational meeting, where we can explain what each line means and other things you have no clue about like the 6050w.... if you're corporate or have an accountant let them handle the call and meeting, they probably are compliant and very aware of the rules and regulations however they can't negotiate better terms with your processor unless you have a comparison, how do you know what you may or may not be losing if you just go around with accusatory and inflammatory statements, personally I think your business is a sham and cheating people out of money and you probably have a crappy product anyway (doesn't feel nice does it?)

awww poor baby, gatekeepers are idiots anyway, you really don't want to know they awful ways they represent you; we don't work with your processor, we work against them in fact, showing you the bs fees they've been charging you forever so you can actually run a cost efficient business; maybe if you listened to the blah blah blah part you can actually benefit from it, how much do you really know about cc processing? oh and if you're tired of the calls, disconnect your number or stop dealing with cc's, I'm sure your customers would appreciate it.
and thanks, we do try to keep our standards high with our training and associates :)

Tony told you the absolute truth, 1. 7-9 min is actually longer than our reps need to show you the issues with your current processor, 2. we don't represent a bank, we represent Merchant Services (dba since 1995) 3. if your issue was because he combined v/mc/amex guess what? again truth, ask about amex one point, it's a flat rate and we combine your statements for you. or just check the website because Tony obviously didn't get a chance to tell you we are a member of the Small Business Growth Alliance, check the website www.sbga.com
I was also born at night, but i'm not an a**hole :)

Merchant services is the name of the business, http://www.merchantsvcs.com/
we belong to the small buisness growth alliance, www.sbga.com
we come in peace and mean you no harm
if you thought that a review of your taxes might net you more money wouldn't you do it? same concept, except its the little junk fees and overcharges you've been paying for too long, take it or leave it but as a  business owner wouldn't you want some peace of mind and get the processor reviewed every so often?
if your bank puts a silly fee on your statement you get them to fix it right? so why pay the bank's silly fees to process credit cards? it's just a simple service we offer, and most businesses do save about 10-30% of their revenue once they understand better.
Also did Visa and Mastercard notify you of the rate increases twice a year? they're national, yes your rates were raised, look at the fine print on those 30 pages of statement, if you even read it at all. keep an open mind, just because it's scary or you don't understand it doesn't mean its bad, a scam or anything other than a phone call with a real person on the other line, think before you speak, and we are just as kind as you are, when you're not cursing at us....

Just got my 3rd call in 2 days....and in response to the SBGA person....why do you spoof numbers when you call me? I call the number back while you are on the line and it says it is disconnected.

And despite what you say about businesses on the DNC, when you are asked to not call back you are required by federal law to do abide by the businesses wishes...I have collected 2,500 and 3,000 respectively in the last 6 years from companies who ILLEGALLY harrass me after I tell them not to call again.

Folks...take dates, names, numbers, times, if they hang up on you...take a pic of the caller ID. Judges like that detail and WILL rule in your favor...it is not expensive at all to file a small claim compared to what you can be awarded....which is $500.00 per violation after you ask them not to call, but you cant let it go over $5,000 or you cant do small claims.

According to Rip-Off Reports:  "This company solicits payroll services and credit card processing services using solicitations to members of professional associations.   Their solicitations indicate they have been approved by such associations, but they have NOT BEEN APPROVED.

The references to the association has been misspelled.

Other complaints have shown they were recently called Merchant Services in Irvine CA.   Merchant Services has a long history of complaints and reports of scams.   It appears they recently changed their name to Small Business Growth Alliance."

    Google your name out.

You may be perfectly legitimate, but if you give a presentation like the way you write, you come across as totally unprofessional.

The lack of professionalism makes people wonder if you are in fact some sort of scammer.

My facts are straight, "honey".  If a business tells a telemarketer to stop calling them and place them on their internal do not call list, then yes, they must stop calling.  They don't have to listen to any "3 min pitch".

Your standards are very high at all, if this is any indication of how you lie to and attack potential customers.  Not the smartest idea to call the company gatekeepers "idiots".  Oh well, your loss!
