I called for my grandmother that has memory issues and the guy right off the bat was rude and kept interrupting me. I was just trying to explain the situation that she couldn't recall who called her from this number or why and was upset and concerned. I asked for a supervisor and he didn't want to give me one, because he said it was against the law and company policy to speak with me, okay, I would be okay with that but I would like for a supervisor to tell me that themselves. I asked him what type of company they were and he said he wasn't obligated to tell me that until I gave him my grandmother's information. I may have gotten a little rude but did so when he was first, I apologized if I was rude to him when I got off them phone because I don't want to be perceived as a rude person unless it's needed. He calmed down a little, then finally said that I was going to be allowed to call and speak with them about her account. Come to find out the company that they say my grandmother owes money to - she does not, and never has, I spoke with the owner and his daughter that does the bills. She said they never turn accounts over to bill collectors since they are a local company and know the individuals that get products from them, they said they especially wouldn't do that to my grandmother since she has used their company for thirty years now. The guy had kept saying through the whole conversation if you know the company why are you calling us? He kept repeating that and I just told him I was in concern for my grandmother, that was it. Not nice at all - he never ONCE told me that HE was the one that spoke with my grandmother until the end of the call. Then I found out that he called her twice today and with her memory issues she had no knowledge that they had done so. Maybe I shouldn't have apologized but I felt better doing so, maybe I rubbed some kindness off on this gentleman?

Our voicemail was filled with music from this number...our patients were unable to leave messages after hours.  Also called twice within 2 hours and just played music.  Called the number to find out the situation and was transferred to a manager, put on hold and then disconnected.  Called back and told them to take us off whatever list they had us on.

Just got a call from this number looking for my daughter.

The caller ID showed the number 614 495 1418, however the message that was left on my voicemail said for me to call 866 652 6500.  An identical message was left 2 days ago.

They called, used my first and last name, said that it was regarding a personal matter, left an extension and then hung up... I believe that this is either a scam OR a red flag that someone has hijacked your identity OR has listed you as an unpaid debt just to see if you paid... I am hesitant to even return the call from my home phone...
I hope someone can tell me what company this is connected with?

it is tek collect inc they are a debt collector............call them back you most likely owe a debt or they ahve the wrong number
