human croaked HELLO

I picked up and said "hello" and the voice replyed and asked to speak to someone.  The reception was very fuzzy and the gentleman had an accent, so I didn't understand the name of the person they were asking for.  I could definitely tell that the voice had a hispanic accent.  After he spoke, I said "I'm sorry, I believe you have the wrong number." to which he replied, "I don't think so..." and then he hung up.  It kind of creeped me out.  When I called the number back, the line was answered by an automated service and then I was put on hold for several minutes.  I figured it was a sham, so I hung up.

They just called me tonight...a man's voice whispered "hello" and then hung up.

I randomly get calls from this number. today, some guy was breathing heavily on the phone, then hung up. no idea who this is. I've called back a couple times and it's just an automated machine.

My hasband & I bouthe recived phone callese in my cell from the same #.
The scary thing is that thay r speeking to me in my netive language.

They called and a Christina Aguilera Song "Keeps getting better" was playing and oddly enough i was playing the same song on my computer.
They've called twice.

i got a call today and an older man croaked out a hello and then hung up. this is the second time i've received from this number and i find it really creepy. i'm afraid to call the number back.

Same it looks like some scam

This is weird, this number keeps calling me and dosent leave a message, I called back and this guy answered and I asked him who it was and why he was calling me, and how did he have my number. He said im sorry and hung up. Are you guys still getting these calls? Do you know who it is?

I got a call today (nov 19, 2008) - they hung up.  I called back ...someone with an accent picked up.  I believe the 1866 number is free but i will be watching my phone bill to make sure nothing pops up.  I put myself on a DO NOT CALL list ...i think it is DONOTCALL.GOV.  if they (him,it, whatever) continues to call after 30 days I am reporting it - PLEASE DO THE SAME!!! THE MORE REPORTS THE BETTER!

Keeps calling my cell phone. It is getting anoying at this point. Anyone knows who these people are??

I've been getting calls from this number for the past three days.  Usually my phone rings only once or twice, before I even have a chance to pick up.  I just managed to pick up when the number called, and I heard a quite "hello" and then no response.  WTF!?  

I wonder if they got my number from online sources like monster.  I've been posting my resume everywhere recently, trying to find a job...

I never picked up because they called me at the wrong times, But they have called me for the past week and I wasn't there to pick up or my phone was on vibrate. I called back and some machine picked up and asked for an extension, I think it's an office or some kind of scam/advertisement. I want to pick up so I can mess around with the advertiser/scammer haha.

I picked up and he asked me if I speak Albanian I responed with NO and he just hung up on me but he spoke perfect English. I called back and the machine asked to press 1 for English and press 2 for Albanian.

They called 4 times yesterday and when I answered I hear a voice say "hello" and then nothing.

They have been calling me more and more and it's crazy. I don't what to do to stop them calling me... Any suggestions please
