Message left at 03:05 p.m. saying: This message is for __ __, This is Ty Web from Kellar King Associates I need a return call from you TODAY at
866-655-5560. It is imperative that you call me back TODAY but by the end of business. GOOD LUCK! I called the number back, did not get a name. I asked who called frm this number and he said I would have to call back during business hours that everyone had left. I told him I was to call by the end of the business day and it is 6:10 or so and I just got home. I asked if this was a bill collector, he said no! I asked what did they do. His reply was: apparently you don't listen is why you are in trouble and slammed the phone in my ear!

was called at work and they represented themselves as kellar king and assoc. and i thought the guy said his name was Ky but it could of been Ty...anyway they represented "Discover" card and i was behind on my payments to them...they knew my balance but never quoted an account number....I had to have a "good faith" payment wired to an account at Wachovia Bank 4617 San Juan Ave in Jacksonville, Fl 32210 by 5pm thurs Feb 19th. I was at work and the only RN in the buidling and unable to leave...This guy said i had to have the money wired by five pm or legal action would be taken against me...I made several calls and got funds available and called him back and told him i couldnt do anything until the next morning. He agreed that it would be okay...my bank wired the money to the Wachovia account and when i tried to call the company back to let them know it had been done the phone rang and rang and a voice recorded message stated that the party could not answer at that time and the call would be terminated.i have yet to get ahold of anyone...i hope i have not been duped...the account number to wachovia they listed was routing number 063000021 and account number 2000042554130. Anyone have any other info on these people? thanks Polly

Someone in this thread called them a legit business...they may be "legit" in terms of their paperwork filed with the state they do business in, but their practices are illegal in my opinion...read my blog on the communication i had with them this morning:

It's illegal for them to threaten legal action against you.

It's also illegal for a collection agency to tell you they will garnish your wages.  You can document everything they tell you and sue them, because they are breaking the law.

My wife received a call today on our answering machine  (12/22/09) at 4:16 p.m. from a person who said she was Kayla Patterson of Keller King & Associates. She claimed her company was processing some legal papers on my behalf, and wanted me to return her call at 904-672-1810 x 2223.  She claimed they had misplaced my phone number.

I did call the number and the extension. The name  on the answering recording was Victor Montana. I left no message.

I have never had legal dealings with this company, and believe it was a scam to get money from me in some way. Based on a lot of comments on the internet when I googled them, they seem to run scams on people that have credit problems. I don't.

I received a phone call from these people today. I explained to the gentleman that I could not pay the amount stated today, but would be willing to set up a payment plan. At that point he began yelling at me and telling me that his "client" would just sue me and he was trying to help, but not now. I hung up and called the number back a few minutes later. I then spoke with a female and tried to explain that I was willing to settle this debt (although I do not recall the debt they mentioned, and they did not have much info about it either) but I refused to be screamed at. She then began to yell and tell me that the company would just sue me. I asked to speak to a supervisor and she hung up on me. I then called back and asked for a manager or supervisor. When they got on the phone they were just as rude as the one before. They all stated that I must pay it by phone today for them to help me. I explained that I was willing to pay the money if I owed it, but I wanted something in writing from them and i would not give info over the phone. IDK if it is a scam, but even if they are a "legit" company, they are practicing in a very illegal way.

Receiving numerous calls/messages (for somebody we've never heard of) from these SCUMS.  In February I called asking them to stop.  Called again in March.  called them today basically told some guy that I felt this would qualify as harassment.  That "idiot" respohded with, "you call my number again and I sue you for harassment, how do you like that?"  If I receive another call from them, I will turn it over for my attorneys to go for the gusto and sue.

They keep calling my 74 year old mother over a credit card that was charged off 10 years ago. They didn't even send out a letter to give her a chance to dispute the debt. Now the statute of limitations has passed  on that debt, but they don't care.

We got a call from this number this morning. I'm not even going to return the call but I will be suing their butts if they keep calling. No one threatens me and gets by with it.

People - NEVER, EVER send money to anyone unless they provide proof that you owe a debt. It's amazing to see how many people just offer to send money simply because a company is threatening legal action. DON'T send money to ANYONE until you have the proof in front of you, and certainly DO NOT give out your bank information over the phone. A collector or anyone else can clean out your account.

Even if you owe a debt a collector cannot garnish your wages without a judgment against you. Don't listen to them. They're lying if they say they can garnish your wages without a court order.

Please, educate yourself about what is legal and what is not. This website, http://budhibbs.com/ is one place to help your understand your rights. Don't get taken. Know your rights and enforce them.

my husband got a call last week from an elizabeth holden, saying that she was an attorney at kellar king & associates and was representing household master card. that he needed to pay right then and there. my husband told her that he had just gooten his job back after a year and that was unable to pay on the spot. well this holden person said if he did not pay that she was going to file some document in court and put  a judgement on my husband. My husbands response to her was that he did intend to pay, we still got the damn credit card in our safe, that way we know who it is we owe to clear our credit. well that holden was not expecting that, and said, "oh really". well they reached and agreement and i told my husband i was going to research the place on the internet because it did not sound right, i know, i used to work for an attorney. well i researched it the following week and it brought me to the site. what collectores say just to scared people. but im sure they have releatives or even themselves that get these calls too. KARMA......
one other thing my husband did not want a judgment on him and went ahead and gave them his savings acct number. i think i should put a stop to that transaction, and let them call again, then tell them they need to get more info to me in the mail. we received a letter today and all it has the creditor name, balance, creditor original balance, creditor settlement balanced, settlement offer expiration. it alsostates that they were hired by diverse funding associates, llc, though the original creditor is houshold bank. please help

Search   www.sunbiz.org for the proper information to Kellar King & Associates. They are a legit and if you owe money to a credit card then do the right thing, pay your bill. Didn't your mom teach you to not take something without paying for it? There is no scam about the company people just don't like the fact that after 2 years of non payment they have 2 choices, pay or get sued. Try your luck, in this economy the banks are sueing people for as little as $500 credit card debts, if you don't believe me check your local court house. Play if you want, a judgement can last for 10-20 years and can hinder a person from obtaining some jobs and obviously credit.

cram it [***].  you are obviously part of the scam coming on here and trying to post idiotic nonsense about this company being legit.  your silliness isn't going to scare anyone into paying money for this crap.  why would someone post that garbage on here?  why would you care if someone was called by this number over a debt  UNLESS you are part of it, and want to try to manipulate people into giving you money.  gfy

They keep calling for a Rose. I think her last name might also be sir, because the recording says this call is for Rose, sir. As if the machine would call another machine sir? Anyway I just called them up and told them that the person who had this number no longer has it, and that I want them to stop calling me. I gave them the account number on the message machine and they said they would stop calling me.

We were out last week and I noted that one of our missed calls was the above 800 number.  They left no message, so I googled the number and I read the above comments.  They called again today and the recorded message said that they were Kellar King and Associates, and the name that the recording gave that they were calling for was neither my wife nor I, nor was it for the person who previously had this phone number (who apparently has also racked up some debt at various points since we get calls for her frequently).  Instead, the person they were calling for was my sister-in-law's younger sister, who does NOT live with either her or us, nor has she ever!  I don't know how legitimate or non-legitimate their call for her is, as I hung up once I heard the name, but it frightens me that they've somehow connected her to us even though our names our completely different!  It'll be interesting if they call again with a live person on the line - I'm not going to rat out the person they're calling for, but I'm real curious as to how they're making this connection . . .
