They left automated message saying if I didn’t call I would be reported to a Federal Agent!!!

A recorded message saying something about a tax problem.  They left a phone number and said it was urgent that I call it.

Scam. Left voicemail stating urgent. Some BS about a federal judge or magistrate and legal proceedings.

Received the threat of Federal Charges, called back and someone with a very thick accent picked up in a call center and said something about Social Security, I hung up

Automated message stating appearance was needed before the magistrate.. Seems bogus

automated call stating my SSN has been involved in fraudulent activities and I needed to call back immediately to avoid federal charges......didn't call back. Very tired of these types of calls!

OK. First thing, if you are really involved in an issue like this, a real government agency would not be attempting contact through some BS automated message over easily hacked telephone lines. You would first be contacted through the U.S. postal system by registered/certified mail. If that action were not successful, agents from an appropriate office would be dispatched to find you. Second thing... Wait. There is no need to go on to a second thing. Don't be fooled by BS automated messages. Call them back for fun if you have nothing else to do. Otherwise, go on about your affairs.

866-659-7388 they called me 3 times within 2 hour same social security fraudulent activity BS.  I had to block the number.  Rob calls are getting out of hand.  No they call weekends and early in the morning or late at night.

I called them back from my blocked work phone just to screw with them and told him they called the FBI and search warrants were being executed this afternoon and they were all going to jail for fraud.

Got a call from OFFICER ED FOSTER ID BADGE 412J27 DIVISION OF INVESTIGATION SENIOR OFFICER.  The officer refuse to give me his office address so I can go their in person. Then the office wanted to know why I called SS and what department did I speak with.  He then got lost for words. I told him he was a FRAUD

You called them back but not from a blocked phone. This is an 800 number and the information goes through regardless.

Scam call threatening to block my social security number and take me before a federal judge unless I called another number immediately.

Scam number! Second one in 2 days, but from a different number. 😡I received a voice message from the scammers. Was an automated recording that sounded like the first part was cut off. Something about spreading before a magistrate and SS fraud. NOPE.

Automated call left this, “Serious attention ignoring this will be an intentional second attempt to avoid initial appearance before a magistrate judge or a grand jury for a federal criminal offense this is the final attempt to reach you to resolve this issue immediately and to speak to a federal agent call back number 866-659-7388 I repeat 866-659-7388 thank you…”

First part of recorded voice cut off but the message left was to call back or face a federal agent. I've been getting a lot of these calls lately. One saying my SSN would be terminated unless I called back. Traced that number back to Burlington, VT. 802-723-0259. Same sort of call from 202-593-2459. traced that back to Washington, D.C. Not a federal government number. I never answer an unknown number now. Let them leave a message and look them up later. Glad my phone allows me to block phone numbers.

Third call in the last two days with message that SS number has been fraudulently used. Today’s message said “last chance to call back or will appear before Magistrate or grand jury” blocking this new number too.

Got the same message today!!  Ridiculous!  I’m sooo over these stupid scam calls!
