Stupid telemarketer call to consolidate student loans

Hey this is Monica with the Student Loan Advisory Board.  I'm just calling you in regards to your federal student loan balances and I have great news for you um you were prequalified with the student loan forgiveness program however I do need to talk with you as soon as possible before these programs change.  So if you can just give me a call back my number's 866-662-6466 again that's 866-662-6466.  I hope to hear from you soon and have a great day.

Why di these scammers call people over and over again who dont even have student loans. And they call from tons of different numbers .

Same student loan spiel. What's funny is the phone is still in my deceased father's name, and he went to college on the VA plan after WW2. So...

got a call from "Monica" form the Student Advisory board. said she wanted to help me lower/ adjust my payments or some such, while I do have a student loan -  Red flag #1 : Didn't ask for me by name. Looked up the Student
Loan Advisory Board, because I had never heard of them. They do exist - don't know if they are legit or not; Red Flag #2 - the number listed on their website is not even close to the number that she gave me.

I been receiving calls from this number claiming that I have a student lean. Well I answered the call and I told them what’s  the name under the student loan and she said that they don’t have that information. Total scam!!!

I spammed this number via Bobrtc, and shut them down.  Shouldn't bother anyone again, at least not from this number.

I got the same message only they  listed two different phone numbers to call and get back to them. One was 866-662-6466 and the other was 877-275-9244, one from Monica and the other from Jana. Both sound very legit but it's a scam.

The past 2 weeks Jana keeps calling with same message about great news about consolidating my student loan.  They don’t reference you by name. They are calling from 984-208-2130 and telling you to call 877-275-9244. I don’t answer the phone.  These calls are annoying.

Used to receive these calls from cell; now they have switched to my alternate number. I have no student loans. Numbers on DNC & filed complaints with FTC. Slowed down. Use different numbers. I let calls go to vm. Scam!!

Same experience as everyone else. I don’t remember what info I gave them. But they knew how much I owed. Ultimately, what are they after. Us sending them money?
