Any information about who is calling from this number?

The number  866-667-6470 is from Tracfone/Safelink, we have this service for my mom who is elderly, and does not use a cell phone often.

This number keeps calling my phone to I have repeatedly asked who it was by text,  no answer so I called the number and they never answerd the phone they called me 3 times in school

This is Tracfone's customer service.  I am talking with them now about an issue with my service.

unwanted call while I am teaching school.  Disgusting to be interrupted with such as this.

This number is from Walmart's Straight Talk customer service. I can't tell you why they called you, unless you are using Straight Talk for your cell service and there is an issue.

this number called while I was in school so I called back later and nothing. They called once more while I was at home, do I answered and there was no one there.

It is an automated Customer Service call from StraighTalk (TracFone).  I am assuming that it is a follow up to a recent call to tech support I made.  Not sure if it is authentic.  I would suggest just calling them at tech support to be safe.

This phone number is for "Direct Response". Tracfone may be upgrading the network in your area, and may require your phone to be a minimum 3 or 4G. If your phone is less than that, your phone will require replacment by a certain date. If you call Tracfone at 800-867-7183, their customer service will double check your phone service device, and if necessary will send you an upgraded replacment phone; and transfer the minutes and service of your current phone. They will send you the phone, and upon receipt you would call them to get your service transferred.

I do not have Tracfone, Safelink, or Straight Talk for my cell provider.  I've had AT&T for 18 years now & couldn't be happier w/them, so I'm unsure why they would be calling me.  It could be an attempt to change my provider &/or a scam.

This is a callback number for TracFone (called a Direct Response Hotline), used for migration issues (upgrading your phone to one that will work with the new network changes). A customer service (or migration agent) will sometimes give you a 6-digit reference number that's just for you (it's your case number), that's good only for 2 weeks. You call this phone number and enter the reference number at the prompt, and you'll be connected to a live agent to help with your case. They will often call you from this phone number, about your case.
Another TracFone Direct Response Hotline number is 866-806-1840 which works the same way. That one is used for more general issues. Some reference numbers for that line are not personal and are permanent extensions. See the 800notes.com entry here for that one.
