Caller calls and asks for any person. Then when you question what is this about he says thank you and does not even let you say a word and hangs up. When you call the number back it sayd that you can not dial that number or the number cannot be reached as dialed.

Calls and says he is with some kind of children's charity - can't remember which one.  Tells me that I have promised to help out and they expect me to keep my promise.  I say, I have no idea what you are talking about, I never agreed to help out with this.  He says, "Oh yes you did, and I am not going to argue about it with you - end of argument".  

Well, suffice it to say I hung up on the jerk.  No way to get business, that's for sure.

Someone keeps calling my house several times a day from 866-673-4355 and when I answer they hang up. I tried to call the number back to ask them to put me on their Do Not Call list but I get a message that the number can not be completed as dialed. I dialed with a 1 in front of the number and without it, both ways I get the same message. This is becoming very irritating. Oh and I have had my home phone number put a national Do Not Call list.

I am receiving calls from this number several times per week. Nobody ever talks when I pick up the phone, and then it hangs up. My return calls to this number get a "call can not be completed as dialed." Very annoying.

My son took a message for me and as ususal did a poor job, taking no name and telling me that the number was on caller id and that I missed a call. I tried to call back about a half hour after the call and it tells me that it is not a working number. I saw the number on id the next day too and tried to call back and says it is not working, the number is the 866-673-4355 number.

These jerks are worrying me to death. They have called twice a day almost every day this week. I try to get to the phone but they hang up when the answering machine comes on. I have tried calling them back to tell them to quit but they don't want to be bothered. How convenient for them!!!!

this co. is a check clearing house. If you get a call from them you may have a bad check with them, call 866-399-4101 they will ask for your phone number & tell why they are calling. I hope this will help.I was taking off there list the same day.

Having the same luck wiht this number as some of you. When I answer, no one says anything then the line goes blank. I wish they would at least say something, not just hang-up.

I have begun getting these calls also.  If James Koath reads this, I would be interested in knowing where you got the 866-399-4101 number you say you called to get this stopped.

When I gat this call, all I hear is background noise as if the caller were calling from an office full of people doing the same thing.

Keep getting calls and hangups from this number... does anyone know what's up about this?

I keep getting calls from this place stating that they are a childrens fund place, almost kind of like a make a wish type deal.  They keep calling asking for donations...one of the times they called me, I don't even know what was said, since they woke up my baby from a nap and I had him screaming in my ear.  All I said was, "sure whatever bye" and then I get this thing in the mail saying I said I would donate money.  My husband told them we cannot donate anything since we're already broke...and to take us off of their list.  Well, they keep calling, and last night, they called from a different number, but it was 9 PM our time!!!  Ridiculous!!!!  My husband asked to speak to a supervisor, and supposedly did, and told them to take us off of their list or we were contacting the FTC and the BBB.  I am getting SO sick of all of these calls.  And they are all from different 866 numbers.  Such as 866-673-4355; 866-658-9148; 866-808-0880; 800-261-1646; and 800-991-5278.  I'm sure there's more numbers, but these are the ones I pulled from my caller-ID.  How can I make them stop calling? They always end up calling and waking up my baby!!!!  Naptime is crucial for a new mom....and dad!!!  I mean come on now!!!!  KNOCK IT OFF!!!!  Geeze....

This person has called me up at least ten times today. They leave no message. I keep wondering what they want.

I echo the same comments.  There is usually no response when I answer.  The number is unable to be dialed back.  They call several times a week at all hours of the day and night.

Caller calls, I pick up the phone. Person says my name 4 times and then hangs up. GO figure!  I called the number that LB Bill suggested and tey said that this number was not linked to them. So far I have only recieved 2 phone calls from this number today.

I recently just recieveda call again and I know for a fact that this is a charity. If you have ever told any form of charity that you would make a donation and they send the information to your house, they will continue to call you. This particular number was related to Homeless Veterns. They finally responded when I answere the phone and told me that they had not recieved my donation. I just told them I didn't have it. That should end the calls or just send in the money with the envelope that they provided in the mail.
