I got this call from 866-676-2140 stating they wanted to know if I would be home later on today cause that had papers that needed to be serve to someone I did not know. I had to tell this person Kevin Johnson  (maybe not his real name) I did not know who he was asking for or looking for. but if he wanted to come my home and serve paper's that would be great. He hung up.

They call my brother sayin there the Sheriffs Department lookin for me I had 3 hours to contact them or they would issue a warrant for my arrest and I would be facing Felony charges, so they gave him this number and a case number, he then calls my mom tells her gets her all upset and then she phones me at work, I'm like WTF so I call and talk to this Valerie Thorpe B**ch who has my information name, phone, address, ssn, where i work, work number, ect. tells me i'm bein sued for this credit card i had never paid off from 2007 and that if I didn;t pay they would tack on 2500 for court costs and attorney fees and I had to give her 550.00 over the phone now and set up payment of 250 per month til it was paid off I told her I don't have the money to pay that or make those kind of payments she asked how much I made a month, how much I pay in rent, how I support myself I told her my fiance is the main provider she wanted to know how much he made a month, told me I had 24 hours to call her back with the 550.00 pymt or it would be filed with the courts and there would be nothing else she could do I never called her back cause I ain't stupid b**ch then the following week she calls my work after hours and leaves a message that shes from West Management and I needed to call her by Thursday. They need to get real jobs and quit harrassing, scamming, being deceptive, to pay there bills and not worry about us folk out here struggling to pay for what we need food, etc. doin honest work, worry about their own financial struggles and stay the hell out of mine and if its a big scam go work for your money and quit trying to steal from us!!!!!!!!

DO YOU REALIZE HOW IGNORANT YOU MADE YOURSELF SOUND...SO, PRETTY MUCH YOUR SAYING "HEY I STOLE MONEY FROM A FINANCIAL SOURCE OF SOME TYPE AND HAVE NO MEANS OF PAYING IT BACK!" SO PRETTY MUCH YOUR A THIEF!  SO BEFORE YOU JUDGE BY MAKING ASSUMPTIONS ABOUT DISHONESTY AND SCAMS, TAKE A CLOSE LOOK AT YOURSELF, BECAUSE YOU TOOK/STOLE MONEY THE MOMENT YOU BORROWED IT AND NEVER PAYED IT BACK...THERE'S NO SCAM RECOVERING OWED DEBT...

do you know how ignorant you are sounding???
you must work for a collection agency, ever hear of unfair and deceitful trade practices???
it is against the law to identify yourself as law enforcement to scare people into responding, which is what this company is doing, if you work for them, be cautious, you may find yourself in court one day using these tactics.

They need to stop calling people who don't even know the people they are trying to find.  I never met the girl, know of her, they tell me that she gave my number as a contact number. They told me they had a Summons for her and they wanted to make sure she knew it so that she would be able to make it to court... Yes this guys name is Kevin Johnson also that called here.  How they got my number I will never know.  But they better not call me again because I surely will be contacting my Attorney Generals office and the FCC.  Then we will see what they have to say.  I don't even have any debt collectors coming after me.  But to have them call and ask for someone that I don't even know is BULL----....I hope they read these comments.

legally, if you tell them they cant contact you at work, they cant. look up fdcpa laws.. if this is a 3rd party collection angency they broke a ton of laws! it is against the law to disclose any info to someone other than the debtor.

    Welcome to the Corona Scam.

They fake "debts" by using information obtained by illegally pulling your own credit reports, then make fake "process server" calls to your relatives to create the appearance they have "sued" you, to get you to call them back in a panic.

Their goal is to panic you into paying them to "settle" the "lawsuit" without ever providing any proof of the alleged "debt", or that you owe them.

Check your credit reports (particularly Experian), and you will probably find a recent credit inquiry under one of their many names (maybe Prime West, AF Group, PMG, ARM, HGG, and possibly others).  Your credit report gives them enough information to size you up for how much they might get from you (they can see your available credit card credit), as well as possible old accounts they can pretend you "owe" to them.

Contact FTC, your state Attorney General, the California Attorney General, the Corona Police Department, and the Riverside office of the FBI.

The Corona Scam uses shill posts on any complaint thread it finds, to try to create the perception they really "sue", and that the alleged "debt" is supposedly real.

They show this pattern of shill posting back at least several years, under all their various names and phone numbers.
