Automated voice claiming to be from Facebook to let me know that my account had been hacked and that I needed to call them back on this number to prevent my account from being suspended. I don't have a Facebook account so obviously a scam.

Has called several times in the last two days talking about Facebook, just as Malcom above has stated.

Just got the same call and BOY did they get a wrong number!!
Not at liberty to fully explain, but ~hint~ level 4 government security........

Received two calls today on home phone stating my facebook account has been compromised and to call them back or else my account would be suspended. I don't have an account. Also got a text message stating my confirmation number for facebook...which again, I don't have.

Have received at least two calls a day for the past four days. I finally answered the last call and a man with an Indian accent answered the phone and said he was from Facebook and that the call was from Facebook headquarters. I told him it was a scam and quit calling me and hung up

This is the second phone number these scammers have used regarding alleged Facebook account suspensions.   The toll free number is provided by grasshopper.com
I have called grasshopper at 800-820-8210 to report the fraudulent use of one of their numbers, the individual claimed that the account would be investigated and again removed.  I suggested simply entering the number in Google to confirm the issue.
The person with whom I spoke indicated that it is very easy for scammers to use their toll free numbers for scamming, so this will continue with a different number, no doubt.

They left a message saying I need to call them this week to take advantage of a settlement offer. Nothing about Facebook as other people have reported.
