I just received another call. I answered using the name of a fake company. Anyway, I checked the government's do-not-call Web site and learned that Simplicity Bridal is not registered on the list of companies who agree to comply, so telling them not to call is fruitless. I suggest when you see their number on caller ID, to answer your phone with a fake company or just sing a silly song or any other thing to annoy them. I think I'll pose as a maid who doesn't quite understand English the next time they call. I will act as if all the ink pens I fetch are out of ink when I try to take a message, too. That way, I'll waste their time and get a little satisfaction out of jerking their chains! I simply hate Simplicity Bridal!

I somehow got registered for simplicity Bridal, they're a scam. They tell you've won a vacation for your honeymoon but what you've really won is a pain and a long list of missed calls ans wasted cell minutes.

They called and said we won a trip and a gift package, they also said I registered at a bridal shop (which is not true) and they never said anything about any presentation untill we got there and asked them why there was cookware everywhere. Then they got mad and acted all rude because we figured out their little scam after wasting gas money to drive an hour away for nothing. It is wrong of them to do this to people who are excited about getting married. They first started calling us four days before our wedding. Something needs to be done about their scandelous way of selling their items (If they were any good any way, they would sell theirselves, right?) They are getting all our names from Davids Bridal (I am calling their corporate office tomorrow and giving them a peice of my mind, because all I did was look on their website for a dress) I saw that on ripoffreport.com.

My fiance and I just got home for their show... What a waste of time! It's not worth the free food! We sat their threw a 2 hr presentation from very good scam artists; they were extreamly talented. I feel so bad for the couples that were their that actually bought their $3,000 cook wear, that im sure isnt even worth $300. Needless to say we wont be sending in the 49.99 a person for the "free trip". I did my homework before writing out a check and the amount of complaints on ripofreport.com is overwelming.

I got the call today from Simplicity bridals, and they too asked me if "I was excited" way too many times.  I wanted to do some research on them before I got suckered and glad I did.  They have called my cell phone about 5 times today- VERY ANNOYING!! Always taling way too fast, and can hear so much background noise like at a call center.

The exact same thing happened to me!
I tried on dresses ONCE at David's Bridal, and they gave my cell phone number out!  They said that it was from registering at a bridal showcase (never been to one), and told them that I don't subscribe to any bridal magazines, and I had only been to ONE bridal shop.  (Which is a lie, because the only major one I'd been to was David's, the others were just little one shop type places that would never give your info out!)  
And because of that, I've decided against David's!  I don't even want to know how many phone calls I would be getting if I had actually BOUGHT something from them!

They called my house....somehow they got my number.... I was excited at first because some bridal shows really do have honeymoons that you can win. My fiance is less excitable than I am and went on and on about it must be a scam. The woman was nice, but when I called back for more information the call was bazar. I think that its sad that young couples now have to keep their guard up all the time in fear of a hoax like this one. I felt foolish at first, but I am mostly glad that I googled them before going to their show.

They also got my name from David's Bridal.  If I could do it again I would have never gone to David's Bridal.  I have received over 5 calls since I went there from strange companies.  

The 866-676-9777 number kept me on the phone for about 15 minutes and kept saying "aren't you excited" and I was really confused.  Anyways, something really needs to be done about David's Bridal selling phone numbers...don't they make enough off their store sales????

I have also received a phone call from these people. 3 day stay at the Bahama's sounded too good to be true. I am naive and actually believed it. Good thing I looked this up, because i was suppose to go tomorrow. I feel stupid for believing them.

Was selected for a trip for the bahamas in december, we went on it a couple weeks ago, thank you lord for answering this call lol. we paid for the taxes and ate and drank ourselves to death for three days straight plus we added on a couple days. Good luck, and dont stress out it isnt a scam.

Same deal as everyone else.  My darling fiance called back and said we'd go, but it ain't happenin'.

Have had 2 calls on my cell phone from this number. Very annoying if it is through David's Bridal.I bought my dress there recently and specifically asked that they NOT sell my number (I'd already had calls from a magazine co in CA which was also a David's Bridal 'referral') I'm going to put my cell phone # on the do not call list so I can report this.

Just got called by them.  They didn't leave a message, so I guess I get to look forward to several more phone calls from them.
This is the second Scam call I've received.  Not sure if the last one was related to this same "company".  All probably stemming from David's Bridal...so glad I didn't buy a dress there, or give them any money!

They keep calling me in the evening.

they wont leave me alone. they call, hang up, leave a message. They pester my cell phone so much. i just hung upon them. Coincidently enough, i have an appointment with davids bridal on sunday...i'll make sure to tell them all about this web-site and about giving out phone numbers.

omg they jus called me. the guy didnt even address me by my full name so i knew something wasnt right he told me i won a free vacay i asked how did u get my # from a bridl show he said. i said i havent been 2 one then he said david bridal i said never been 2 db then he said damn that was my fallback question.(huh)i said to myself this has to be fake & he kept swearing so i knew they wernt a legit company so i told him 1st find out how you got my # then i will give you a call back which i wont thanks to you guys .thank god 4 the google.

Like many of you I received their annoying calls. Call them back and ask to be permanently removed from their calling list. They verified my name and number and I have yet to hear back :)

I got a call from this number. They said Simplicity Brides also. I keep getting weird calls from Bridal places, even though I got married almost a year ago. I also believe these calls are linked to David's Bridal somehow. It's so frustrating!!!!

got the call on my cell in the evening. didn't answer and glad I didn't. they did not leave a message. after reading all this, I know not to if they call again. I too signed up for something on David's Bridal and have been getting all sorts of calls. Even one from some lady saying I won Mary Kay cosmetics. I knew something was up when she said it was from a drawing that I placed a card in at David's but I've only been on-line at their website and have never stepped foot in the store!
