Rec'd voice mail yesterday.  My answering picked up mid-message.  Something about no longer being able to provide service to my computer, and requesting I contact them for refund for payments I have made.  How stupid do these crooks think I am?  These robocalls have ceased to be entertaining, and never had any credibility.

"Microsoft" scam. Did have my fun with the guy on the phone though.

Some idiot jacka$$es trying to convince people that their Windows Defender security system is no longer protecting their computer. Told him he was nothing but an a$$hole trying to scam people and he needed to get a real job, some morals and integrity! I hung up. He called back and left a recording on my voicemail that said "F You. You are an a$$hole". Again nothing but a jacka$$!

I just got the same call saying the same thing.

I received the same call. Funny thing is - I don’t own a computer with Microsoft. I only use Linux.

Same Microsoft scam.  They left a message to  Press 1 for a refund. Saying they would credit me money for payments made to Microsoft.
Please beware of these idiots.   I assume they are trying to get your bank account number.

Glad I’m not the only one that received a call like this recently. They called me today, but I just hung up and ignored it.

The robo calls seem to be picking up.  This one came in at about 8:00 pm.  I did not answer, but they left this voice mail of blah blah blah.  I blocked the number and deleted it.  In my entire lifetime I have never contributed or bought anything from a phone call -- not gonna start that now.  Scammers, swearers, and just downright nasty people.  Do not pick up and block the number.  I am sure they probably have tons of them to bother us more and more. They all need to get a real job.

"Made to us, to get back a refund of the payments to us, press 1 to get connected to the refund department." I listened to the message & thought "yeah and you will hold my computer for ransom!" NOPE!! Blocked & Deleted!! Pass it along, Thank all of ou for helping!!

I received the same call, but the funniest thing is that I do not have a computer and he hung up on me.

Got the same message today, 5/30 @ 12:45 pm. I called back. Foreign guy says he is with Microsoft and they owe me a refund. He has no idea who I am. BUT if I hang on, his refund department will get mt account info and return the money right away. SCAM!!!!  I laughed at him. He hung up on me! LOL

They left a message saying I had overpaid a payment and I could press one to receive a refund to my account. Sounded like a robot machine. Anyways never in my life have I overpaid anything 😂 that is my money!

These idiots call all the time.  I have hung up on them and blocked the number and they call from a different number from a different state.  Dude got down right rude with me cause I wouldn't log onto my computer.  I told him that I didnt fall off the turnip truck yesterday and he was the idiot.  He hung up and then called right back.

This person calls non stop. It is harassment.  They let it ring all the way out or hang up if I pick the receiver up

Got the same refund scam as everyone else left on voice mail. If I knew where to find any of these dirtbags I would definitely enjoy making it my mission to make them suffer intense pain.

these scammers called my elderly mother in law. Told her she needed to go to walmart and buy them a cash card so they could fix the viruses on her computer.

Received phone call from this number something about my computer and a refund. Scam please check this person out!

Caller called saying from Microsoft. Same as others, wants me to log in so that I can get the refund I over paid into. Wants my acct info to move the money over. Got angry when I laughed. Told him to keep it, he obviously needed it more than I do. Cursed at me and hung up. I'll take my chances without getting my "big refund".

Some Popup taking control of Desktop.  Saying I have Trojan Spyware and call this number asap.  As I was rebooting called number the answered first RING.  NO VALID COMPANY ANS ON FIRST RING.  NEVER EVER.  I ASK HIM WHAT IS THE MICROSOFT DEFENDER HE HUNG UP.  I AM RUNNING NORTON NOW
