Apparently I won a 2007 SUV in a contest I do not recall entering.

Apparently I won one of four possible prizes.  Anything from an SUV, flat screen plasma screen, 2 tix to the continental US, or $2,500.  Beverly Fox at 866-679-1133 extension x248 or 800-596-6693 said I entered a drawing online (which I do not recall entering) left me a message to call her back stating that this is not a sales call nor a telemarketing call I simply have won a prize.  I called and spoke to her and she wanted to verify that I was 27 years or older and that I lived in the continental US.  Then she said that was all the information she was looking for and when the actually drawing happens she will contact me (drawing was last week).  Never heard back from her so I called her back a week later.  She then asked if I was married or single.  I'm single so she placed me on hold for a few minutes then came back and said that I had been placed into the "singles" drawing which would happen that day and to call back tomorrow for the results.  I did call back the next day only to get her voicemail, then I called the other 800 # (800-596-6693) and the person who called sounded just like "Beverly Fox" (very distinct voice).  The lady said Beverly was out of the office but would be in later that day.  I asked her if she could give the results of the drawing and she said I would have to speak to Beverly (I'm pretty sure the lady I was speaking to was Beverly!).  My question is what is this lady getting out of this?  Is my phone bill going to be charged some ridiculous charges or is my credit somehow being high jacked?

I got a very similar message left at my home which alleges that I won a 2007 SUV to my surprise.  Of course I don't remember any drawing I have ever entered to get qualified for a SUV.

Would you let me know what you have found out since your last contact with them?

My phone just rang with this number.  I am skeptical about answering 866 numbers, so I let it go to voicemail.  They did not leave a message, but after reading this message board, I now know not to fool around with this. Thanks all.

I got a very wired call from this phone 8666791133 said I entered a drawing online which I never done that.

My phone is on don’t call list. Please help find out what’s the strange caller from 8666791133.

I was called by susan and I went to the presentation i scratched off my ticket and won a 2007 cadillac escalade that's sitting in my driveway right now and its white. !!!!dont hate because your to scared to sit thru a 90min. presentation. Happy driver of escalade!!!

Some person alleging to have suv for me from a drawing contest.  They left a message explaining the winnings.  I knew it was scam right away because I do not do drawings.  Those that looking for something for nothing do drawings.  Think! even the lottery ticket you must pay at least a dollar to be entered.

Anything that sounds too good be is usually not true.  I simply did not call back.

I do the same thing for e-mails and I don't even entertain them or pretend to know what they are talking about.

We got a call similar (866-457-0414); but after going to the drawing or presentation we also won. We won the vacation for two to Cancun with air & hotel. We just got back & we enjoyed our stay there, everything was beautiful & we had a wonderful time. After it was all said & done I wouldn't mind going to another presentation to see what we could possibly win.

my mom & dad went to a presentation to claim a prize for me because i was under the age to participate. when they got back they told me that everything went well but...!!!! they had won a brand new suv & i could have it when i go off to college(my cadillac truck is black on black fully loaded). i'm sure glad i filled out that entry for the car. i go off to school in the fall!!! so don't believe the hype, it worked out for me. some of you guys are just sore loosers because you didn't win the car but i bet you won something. life is great!!

I received a message from this number on both my home and cell phone saying I was finalist for a Cadillac Escalade.  When I called back, I ws told I could win the Escalade, $2500, a 35 inch TV or a 2 night trip to Las Vegas or Florida.  I asked where I entered this contest and was told at Target or a mall in Jan or Feb.  I asked who was sponsoring this and was told Global Holidays - I can't find them on the internet. When I asked if I have to sit through a presentation, I was told no....but other postings say there is a presentation.  What is the presentation about?  Do they try to hard sell you on something and can you say "No" and still get your prize?  What sort of information do you have to provide them? Are the postings here about actually winning the Escalade, SUV, and trip legitimate?  What strings were attached in winning them?

I just received a call from this number and they were looking for my husband.  He wasn't here so I asked some questions.  The call was from Christiny (sic) from the Awards Claim Center.  Wouldn't talk to me - also would not give me the number she called from or the company (illegal by the way in the state of Illinois).  She then hung up on me.  I *69ed the call and called back.  I got a "supervisor" Christopher Johnson and asked what this was about.  Told that my husband made it into a final drawing for a SUV from entering a contest - now I know this is not true.  He said it was for Star Vacation.  I asked what the catch was and he said absolutely nothing.  I asked if you had to sit through any presentations and he said "no".  I don't appreciate the lies from this company and I don't think their tactics are ethical.  If you really won a car, congratulations - but I am wondering if those posts are legit or part of the marketing plan for Awards Claim Center.  I know that they have already lied to me once.

It's really not worth going unless you want to buy a membership.  When you get there, they ask for a credit card in order to make sure you can buy something.  They sit you down and ask you a bunch of questions such as "Sooo how much do you spend on each vacation?" and "What do you like to do on vacation?" and "Do you like to stay in luxury hotels?"  This goes on for about thirty minutes.  Then they herd all of you into a small room where you listen to a 20 min/30 min presentation where a guy gives a convincing but rather amusing lecture.  He makes up words such as "dramastically" and other non-existent words.  Oh yeahhh and the guy said that "My grandma loved the penguins in Alaska."   Uhhhh.... hellO?  There are no penguins in Alaska you liar.  After this really intense "sales" presentation which promotes their membership, they herd you back into the first room where they try and make you purchase a membership.  If you buy one, good for you...you have a lot of free time and hey it's kind of a good deal (if you're retired, have a lot of free time, and etc).  Most people didn't buy a membership.  Everyone gets a card which you scratch off and amazinglyyyyy everyone gets free airfare to las vegas, cancun, or orlando.  It was alright and an experience but I woudn't do it again.  The people working aren't very professional.  Some of them are dressed sloppy with greasy hair and flipflops dressing their feet.  However, the one girl I dealt with was really nice and sociable.  Anyways, they lie.  You have to sit, answer questions, listen to a boring presentation, and then be pressured to buy.  Good luck to those of you after the cadillac escalade fully loaded.

Got a call from shannon saying I won an Eddie Bauer Edition for 2007 Ford Explorer.  no one there when I called back.  This has to be a scam.

Received a voicemail from this number today stating that my name was drawn and I won a 2007 SUV - I have not entered any drawings, and thought it was suspicous that although she left a name (Angela) she didn't say where she was calling from or on behalf of, and also thought it was strange to mention "2007 SUV" but not mention a make or model - based on other reports here I don't intend to bother returning the call.

This whole script is fake as hell everybody wins the same thing if they go a 3 day 2 night vacation. And when u get to Global Holiday, Star Vac tions, Travel Resort, or E-Holidays they will try to sell you something. I got a call saying I entered a drawing which I do from time to time. So when I received the call I was happy. Come to find out there really isn't a 2007 Escalade I got a 3 day trip to Vegas. This long drawn out presentation was boring and they trying to get into your business. If u fall for it good luck 2 u.

I've now gotten two phone calls from these people. The first was from 702-554-1461, the second from 866-679-1133. I have not answered their calls nor have I returned them nor do I intend to. The whole premise of "you've won something" in a drawing while knowing I have not entered a drawing had the stench of a con all over it; so, I googled the number and low and behold - bingo - a scam. I want to let the people responsible for annoying me know this - you are so obvious in your attempt to out-smart the rest of us that you are tripping over yourselves. The postings in this forum that are supposedly from "actual winners" calling the rest of us "haters" and "sore losers" are absolutely ludicrous. I can tell you one thing - I will find you and report you to your home state attorney general's office. Have fun talking explaining your tactics to them, ok?

wow...uh..."crissy"...i have yet to meet anyone in the 18-24 year old college set that uses the phrase "sore loosers" (sic). Could it be you are simply an employee (albeit, a rather un-educated one since you can't spell the word "loser" correctly - I seriously doubt you are off to matriculate in romper room let alone any university)or a member of management trying to counter act all of the damaging testimony from actual people getting screwed over? I am willing to bet the brand spanking new Cadillac Escalade that I supposedly won that your post is a fake in a weak attempt to salvage your scam. Good luck with that.

I think you are - would you like to know how I know this to be the case? I'll tell you: "...dont hate because your to scared to sit thru a 90min. presentation." Your spelling, grammar and punctuation is atrocious (just like "crissy")- it is, "you're" not "your", "too" not "to" and "through", not "thru". Keep trying though...I'm starting to find this amusing. Posting fake messages claiming to be individuals who have actually won something is, I'm fairly certain, a criminal offense - misleading and lying and misrepresenting your product is very low - slither under the next available rock please. Stop trying to steal money from hard working people by selling them a bogus product under false pretenses!
