I have had calls from this number many times. They always hang up. I tried to call back but you can't.

I also receive calls from this number and the same thing happens... no one speaks after you answer. Call back and you hear "This is not a working number."

I received a call from this number today. They identified themselves as "Kids Wish Network" of Holiday, Florida. Their web site is www.kidswishnetwork.org.

My assessment: BEWARE. This is not the well-known "Make-a-wish Foundation", though it sounds very similar. The caller on the phone said that they grant last wishes for terminally ill children. But their website says they fullfill the wishes of children 3-18 with life-threatening medical conditions. Better Business Bureau's "Wise Giving report" (see http://chartityreports.bbb.org/public)says that the charity did not provide requested information for 3/07-3/08. In 2001, Michael Manzer, founder of "Kids Wish USA" was sent to prison for mail fraud and money laundering. May not be the same organization, but there are a lot of red flags here.
