These people are calling mr like crazy on a un known number. What do they want from me?!?!

I got a call from a Mr.Payton on numerous occasions stating that he has some papers to serve me. I am in no trouble with the law. Who is this gut and what does he want??

I have rec'd numerous calls from this number and from a Mr. Peyton claiming to have papers to serve me but referred to me with my unofficial legal name.  I'm thinking legally he would be using my correct legal name.  He also claimed the papers were in a sealed envelope and he is by law to not open the envelope.  I have worked in the legal field for 17 yrs and know this is not true.  Papers to be served are never placed in an envelope because the server has a paper that he will remove from the papers stating he has served him.  Very suspicious of this situation to the point that I am changing my number.

Again...no longer with the law, I was freaking out for a minute but after reading everyone else's posts I feel better. What I creep. He didn't call me directly but my uncle of whom I hadn't seen in well over a year. So, I'm just going to ignore it

I recieved a call from a Mr. Gordon stating that he found my name in a case regarding my boss from work.  He didn't really say much he just said that if I wanted to fill a complaint to give him a call back.  I've been getting these calls for the last 3 months and to be honest, I'm FED UP!  I'm to the point where I'm changing my number so that these dumb people leave me alone.  THIS IS A TOTAL SCAM!!!

Received a call from Mr. Tom Davis stating he needed to serve me papers and call this number regarding a case file # he has yet to contact me via phone and wants to set up a meeting place.  Called the number and was speaking to an Ed the company is identified as ucs or usc but Ed did not want to release any information about the company until he had my name, refused and hung up.

Got a call from a "Mr. Gordon" from an unknown number on my cell phone, wife's cell phone, and parent's home phone. Left a message saying that they have an order for me and were trying to "deliver papers". Caller left this number (866-679-7305) and asked to meet somewhere, or he would deliver them to my home or job.

I called the number and the clown that answered the phone claimed to know nothing of the earlier call, and tried to ask me for my address. I let him know that I had reported the number to the State Attorneys Office and any future communication will need to occur through my attorney.

People will do anything these days to try and get your money, identity, or whatever. Please do not fall prey to these "crooks". They are easy to spot..they do not use legal business practices, and they babble when you call them on it. Guys, get a real job!

yeah well they called me my brother and wife's cell phone and my parents saying that they have court papers and ready to take me to court and i have a lump sum to pay well i got more than a lump in my shorts that they can SUCK IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I got a call claiming I need to setup a payment plan threw them for a check advance I didn't pay a year ago??? but when I read these comments I am thinking should i do it??? or is this fraud??? Feed Back please ASAP :)

of crap and keep calling from unknown numbers! They wont say what they want other than to serve papers. Well file the correct court papers and let the locals serve me! I wont give anyone my information over the phone. If they have paperwork send it in the mail!
