A Mr. Wayne Allen called from this number informing me we were being taken to civil court in regards to an unpaid Mastercard bill.  Any assets we had would be confiscated in order to pay this civil judgement.  I contacted the courthouse and we have no such case, and I also checked our credit report; and there was nothing from this Mastercard company.

He had all of our information including the last four digits of our social security numbers, current and past addresses.  I offered no information of our own.

You cannot be fired for being served at work.  Your weak attempt to SCARE posters into thinking your scam is legit will not work.

Called back same # when I stated my cause for calling I realized the guy was a 1 man collector with a real bad communitcation problem foul language,and shouting that I am threating him I think he is a liitle man with a system of operation no better than a drug cartel forceing him self to be legal with lack of knowledge no your rights. because I do not but know a thug when I hear one remember prison  and always will be worse ,so let him hang himself.

i recieved letter over a month ago about this complaint and they refused to work with me as far as payments and thats all we can afford and now they are trying to levy my wifes paycheck to get the money.i dont understand how they are able to do this!!!

Got a call today asking for a message to be left for me that a process server would be coming to my job tomorrow.  She called it a "courtesy call".  I don't have a job.  I am on disability.  I would love to be able to make some money off of these people if anyone can tell me what to do.  She came on my caller ID as Unknown Caller with no number listed.  She said after the process would come a warrant if I did not pay.

Maybe they can't but they can sure put your business in the street and get you fired.  I had  subprime mortgage with Chase.  They lost a payment that I had, unfortunately, sent as a money order and could not prove to their satisfaction that they had received it because I could not find the receipt. They called my job every month, sometimes 2-4 times.  I had to walk up to the office because I was a teacher working at a school. This was before cell phones were common. The secretary would call on the intercom and say, "Your mortgage company is on the phone".  Then I would have to deal with them in the office in front of the nosy staff.  At the end of the year, despite a perfect evaluation, I was not re-contracted.  The Director of Personnel and principal had "concerns".  When you don't have tenure they don't have to give a reason for not keeping you. So yes, you can lose your job, maybe not in the way the poster said, but you can lose your job.  Avoid giving out any information about your job to anyone you owe money to if possible.

This is a small time operation with big threats.  Wayne makes false statements, calls from 000 numbers, private numbers, etc.  When you call this number it is obviously  being transferred else where, you will hear a busy tone instead of ring, and when they answer they do not identify what business they are. You have to demand it out of them.  They intimidate by throwing out words like process servers, court processor, and other legal words.  They continue to call my employer, even after I have asked them several times before.  
They claim to have sent letters out, but I have never received anything from PLG.  Basically, they are just trying to scare people into giving them their bank account info.  If they were a legitimate company, they would answer their phone appropriately, and the calls would not be rerouted to avoid detection from authorities.  They will get caught soon.

Is this the infamous Midland company who is breaking every debt collection law throughout the country?

Caller stated he was Michael Jones with a Law Firm, but would not state what Law Firm.  Said there was case (and gave a case #) against someone I have no contact with.  I called the 866-680-1450 and the recording said it was the PLG Office.  Caller ID displayed "unknown".

Said they had a summons for me to go to court.  Did not leave msg.  Left this number to call them back.  Called and said PLG.  They have never left me a msg.  I had a bad debt 15 years ago after a divorce.  TX has a 4yr. law.

They called also to my work twice, what should I do? Do you know anybody there that can help me?

I had this number call my exhusband's wife and give my social number and DOB. That is illegal and I will file charges. I am very concerned about this giving other people information that you don't even know about.

Fast talking (think he was on drugs) debt collectors VERY loud making threats about a lawsuit.
Names used by the tongue twister includeed RMC (duh?) PLG, who he blurted stood for Pacific License Group (no such company found.)

Every other word was "you will be served, we can make a deal, gonna need a lawyer."
This clown was so bad at imitating a debt collector who was imitating a legal assistant that I asked if he was driving home tonight under the influence of drugs.

These clowns belong in a circus, caged up, they are terrible liars and jerks.

I received a call which was an unavailable number was given this number 866-680-1450. These people say I owe a bill and want me to pay the bill with a wal-mart prepaid card!

whatever. they violate FDCPA laws.

A Michael Jones called me at home and at work from the above number and left messages that there is a legal matter that is time senstive that has come to his attention and gave me a reference number as well. Did nto identify the company or what the legal matter was.

I received a phone call at work from Michael Jones from this number-951-493-3714. He stated that he had some "legal paperwork" to give me and that it could either be served to me tomorrow, or I could call this number (1-866-680-1450). I asked him who he was and what was this pertaining to. Mr. Jones could not give me any information on the reason for this phone call.
I ended the call with him and called the 866 number.

A woman answered the phone and took the case number that I was given and transfered the call. A man got on the phone and said to me "Yeah". I stated to him that I was trying to get information about why I was recieving this call. He then proceeded to tell me that I owed this company and that my wages would be garnished. He also stated that I was being sued by them. When I explained to him that I had not received this letter that he claims to have mailed me. He tells me the address that he sent it to, I informed him that that was not my address. He stated "is that your excuse?" I told him that if that's what he wanted to call it then fine. Whoever he was though clearly crossed the line with me when he asked me "when was I going to get a job, do you ever plan on doing anything with your life?" I asked for his name, which of course he would not give me.

I was willing to work with this company and give them an address so that they can mail me this "legal paperwork" However, at this time I refuse to be belittled and verbally harassed by them!
