866-681-2948

This is the message that was left on my answering machine      "If you wish to receive additional calls  please call Infinity Network at 866-681-2948 Mon-Fri 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM CST to resolve this issue, or prepay calling to make sure this will not occur in the future."     When I Googled this company name it is a service for correctional facilities.  Be carefull they may charge a phone call to your phone and it will be some outragous amount.

Yahoo or Google searches for 866-681-2948 attach the number to "Infinity Networks", located in Texas, with vague references to a company providing contracted telecommunications for state prison systems, specifically for their inmate population.  However, there is NO official "Infinity Networks" website that affirms their services to state prison systems.

The 2 Texas area business listings for "Infinity Networks" on the BBB website do NOT confirm these businesses serve state prison systems, either---despite the "A + " and " B- " grades given them.

Simply hang up if you get these strange calls and DON'T KNOW anybody serving time in prison--DO NOT press any number key options.

I get the real sense "Infinity Networks" is a clever phone SCAM, best left alone.

You have every right to be wary of a potential clever phone SCAM. Most state prison systems DO NOT allow inmates to randomly call numbers, hoping someone answers--HOWEVER, this does NOT include county jail systems.

If you do NOT know anyone doing prison time, suspect the call is a SCAM---and simply hang up!!

Infinity Networks is bull no one is there to pick up the phone for people when it is not in the hours from 8 to 5. what about the people who have work. My husband is in jail and i cant ever put money on the dang phone or even make sure the money was there for him to call me.
