I got a message from a woman stating pretty much the same above only she say's it's in regards to "check fraud" like they would say that on a answering machine message. I knew it was some kind of a collections scam. God this people(debt collectors) are nothing but a much dirty crooked thieves. They should all be shot.

Yes, they can garnish your wages but *not* in the way they claim. Wage garnishment can only be ordered by a judge and faxing them something to your job *cannot* accomplish it. Your place of employment would be properly notified by the court if garnishment was so ordered. While these debt collectors are just trying to scare you, if you do have debt, it's probably not going to go away but may be sold on to other parties. However, you can try to sue them for illegal collection practices.
