Scam. Calls from some random state, says their name is Laurie Robins and to call the number above about a  federal student loan. Asks you to use reference number 02023. Pretty sure federal student loans will mail and email you before calling, and will call from DC.

got the exact same call today with the same reference number. apparently we have a joint loan. LOL

Just got the same message with the same reference number. Definitely a scam.

Another 02023 reference number!  We are all in this together apparently!

Laurie gets around, she left two different numbers two different messages 866-690-9669, ref 02023 and 866-642-6886 ref 01018. There isn't any quick payoff for student loans, pay in full by payments or pay in full by payoff balance , both amounts the same, compound interest loan, I will have paid the amount borrowed three times,.mine will be pd in full at my 10 yr mark of non-profit employment, go figure!!

I got the same...a call from each number on different days from the same person with the same reference numbers.

I just now got the same call.  It was from (706) 927-0264, but she said to call (866) 690-9669 with that same reference number.

Apparently my reference number is 02023 as well!  Glad to know I'm not the only one.

I guess I am joining the 02023 party. My first call was from Laurie a couple of weeks ago and I then got a call from Michael today. I told him to send me an email about his organization and about the program they are offering. He said he would email me- I am still waiting!!!

Wow, Laurie Robbins just called me from a Florida number asking me to return her call at 866-690-9669... guess what my reference # is 02023!

Got 02023 again. Scam!!!

Received 2 different messages today from Laurie, a number in Alabama and another from Chicago. Same reference number #02023

She calls constantly and it’s the same reference number you mentioned! But my call is from Pennsylvania sometimes but she tells me to call back the 866 number. Scam!

8896909669 reference 02023 and 8667602662 reference 02027. And wait for it Lori Robins.. I filed a complaint because my number is on a do not call list and since they were calling everyday. Now nothing cause they didn't want to pay 2500 a call.

I have received 2 messages from Laurie Robbins "concerning changes in my federal loan terms", with call back number 866 690 9669 Ref# 02023. Sheldon answered with something like National Loans. He said Laurie was busy helping  another caller.He was going to ask questions but I said," First let me ask you something. Whose loan is this about?' He answered that he had no idea and only had my phone number and reference number. While I was talking he hung up on me or I was disconnected. Not so good for "Laurie Robbins."

Got the same call from 706-927-0264, state of GA.
