Got same thing my husband is ex law enforcement. We need to go after them it happened to me also bs

Received call from unknown caller...left message and provided me with the 1-866-691-5625 number, last for of my social and case number. Claimed to be an investigator and would be summoning me tomorrow between the hrs of 4-7pm..I called number and who ever answered sounded just like the person who left message. I was then transferred to "The Attorney" name David Goldsberg, who stated that he was hired by a loan company that was pursuing payment from 10 years ago..I contacted the corporate office to that loan company and they informed me that it is a scam, they also told me that they do not hire attorney's or investigator's...will be reporting to my attorney general.

Called me claiming to be Chantel from Legal Services Division. Gave me the same thing...papers being served, call this number. I know I don't have any old debt as I just filed bankruptcy this past spring and my attorney covered all my debts from the last 8 years! I have googled the number and filed a report with my Attorney Generals Office.

People, you NEVER, NEVER get any legal issues on a phone call. It's always done thru certified mail, subpoenas... The moment you get them, block their number if it appears and report it. They are all scams. If you happen to pick up, asked them what "jurisdiction" are they serving or court? they're the dreads of society and will make up something stupid, if they even understand what jurisdiction means. If they continue to play the game, ask them for attorneys name so you can look it up in Martin Hubbell attorney directory.

I got this call from this J and S associates telling me i'm going to be served papers the following day and I will have a warrant for my arrest if I don't be home to receive my summons. I called my county sheriff's office and reported this. I was informed by the Sheriff himself that this a scam going around. These people are trying to get money paid to them over the phone. They are also trying to get your personal information.  DO NOT FALL FOR THIS SCARE TACTIC!!! DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE ANY MONEY!!!!! I looked this so called company up and the website says they are out of The United Kingdom and had an African accent.

Received a call from a Miami number asking me if I was home so I could be served papers.( I live in another state.) I asked what it was about. She said she couldn't tell me yet gave me the phone number to call 866-395-3967 and a case number for JS and Associates. I called the number and they stated that I owed a payday loan.  They seemed to have some of my personal information. I told them that due to my cancer I filed bankruptcy and that recently went through so any debts I may have had are gone. They proceeded to tell me that this didn't count which sounded odd to me. Besides, I know that this is not a debt I had.
I told them I would have my attorney's office contact them. I then went online and this company doesn't have a legitimate website and found that there was many listings about fraud/scams for this "company". I called attorney's office which also believes that it is BS and is in the process as I type this of contacting them.
Do not give out any personal information! Turn them in!
