Claimed to be with United Health.  Asked if I was --- I would not say yes, responded with hitting #1.  Then asked for date of birth.  I hung up...they should have this info...It was a recorded message.

Recorded message supposedly from United Health Care. Asked for my date of birth.  I refused and hung up.  Another scam!!

Recorded message also asked for social security number

Left voicemail telling me to call back, United Healthcare.  They had my correct name and left a phone number and PIN to call back.  Based on previous responses above stating they asked for either SSN or DOB, I didn't bother calling back.  I already have United, so if they need to get ahold of me that bad, they can send me a letter.

Wanted me to say "Yes" if they had my correct name.  Asked why do you want my name.  Pushed "2" for "No".  Gave me call back # and pin.  Called back and they were still trying to get me to say "yes"  would not!!  They hung up finally.

Received a call and they started the voicemail message by saying "Please say yes or no" If they are United Health Care as it has been reported, why do they hide behind a unavailable number? If it walks like a duck and sounds like a duck, it must be a duck.

I received several VM message from this # identifying themselves from United Health Care. I answered the call today and when they asked to identify my birthdate I hung up and called United Health Care directly. They have no connection to this number so likely a scam. Don't give them any info!

left voicemail, no identifying information. called no, still no identifyING info. wanted me to use pin left in vm. didn't. have United Health.  have no issues. very bad !

claimed to be from United Health care, gave a pin reference number. Obvious fraud, called me twice. Hang up both times.

Received call at 9:45am. Did not answer. V/M did not mention a company name, although we also have United Health Care so there appears to be a fraudulent connection with United given the comments of many of the other people. Message was for my wife and asked her to call back regarding this "very important" matter. Gave a PIN number as well. Did not call back. Blocked call. Interestingly, this is the second call for my wife in 24 hours. The first was very similar in message and PIN, but the number shown was 800.695.6796.

I just got that recorded call from United Health Care.  My recording said I should call them and then enter 7 digits they gave me. I am not calling back !!

This caller claims to be United Health Care....Caller ID is "Unavailable" . BTW they also leave a message to call them back at this number and enter a code...5116527
they asked me to give them the last 4 digits of my social....hung up
Called my United Health Care plan which is thru AARP directly.....the representative also felt it was a scam and was reporting to her supervisor.  BEWARE!

This number definitely is AARP United Healthcare!  The message is about their new wellness program and information about the free nurse hotline 24/7.  I just called UHC and spoke to a rep after I listened to the recorded message.  I suggested instead of using "Unavailable" that they put the full company name, or UHC.  If they just want to notify clients of new programs then they need to not ask for birthdays, but just give the message and a phone number if you have questions.  I gave them the information on how to check these spam websites so they can see how many folks aren't trusting their phone calls.  We'll see.

Call claims to be from United Health Care, asking to verify date of birth.  I immediately hung up.   Do not give these people any personal information.  United Health NEVER cold calls policyholders.
