I picked up on the call but said nothing.  There was about a 5 second delay and then someone came on the line and started talking about some bill in the US Congress about sending domestic oil to China and other countries and how that would increase our gas prices.  She wanted to know if I was for or against this.  Guess you would call this a survey.  The lady had a thick foreign accent and I could hear a lot of other people talking in the background.  Her accent was so thick I couldn't tell if she actually identified who or what was calling  Regardless I still said nothing.  After her long speech, and when I didn't respond, she asked if anyone was there a couple of times and then the line disconnected.

They called again - no surprises there.  This time the lady just said hello a couple of times, said "yup" and she disconnected the call.  The tone of her voice sounded like she wasn't having much fun.  This time the caller did not have a thick accent but I could still hear a lot of other people talking around her.  Since they've called twice I guess it's time to play some games with them without giving them any usable information for their survey.  No way to stop these calls so why not make them non-profitable for them both money and information wise and also have some fun having a battle of wits with an unarmed person.

Well I had some time today so I talked to a gentleman by the name of David.  He said the name of the company pushing the calls but his accent was so bad I couldn't understand what he said.  He asked what I thought about including a law, about allowing the shipping of domestic oil over to China and other countries, in the transportation bill.  I asked him what he thought and he hesitated a little and then said he thought it was a bad idea.  He never did get me to answer the question but offered to give me the direct number to my Senators office in Washington DC so I could complain.  I told him email works better for me which also seem to throw him off a little.  Kept him on the phone for about 3 minutes before he hung.  That's 3 minutes that David can't harass someone else.  They called twice yesterday and this was the second call today.  Wonder if they will call again now that they've pushed their message out.

Been getting calls from this number several times a day. Let it go to voicemail. No messages. Getting tired of them ringing so am blocking this phone number. I wish there was somewhere to report them for harassment.

We get at least three calls from these people daily, minimum.  Sometimes multiple calls in one hour. What is obtrusive is that our calls need to be attended to in our household because we often are in correspondence with medical professionals for a member of our family. This is not to be taken lightly. This angers me very much.
