An "important" automated voicemail message was left for the name of someone I couldn't understand (not me). They say it's not a marketing call. Instructed to call back the number between 9am-730pm Mon-Fri or 10am-230pm sat to retrieve message.
I've had these before and I think I called back once, but it's nothing important. Just ignore.

I get these same calls all the time. I am on Telus. It is driving me up the wall.

This is a collection agency that is calling. A1 Collection. But they are calling the number of the previous owner of my phone number

Same exact thing as my situation with them. However the person who owned this number before me was my Uncle and he isn't named Linda Hawk. I don't even know a Linda, yet they insist I am this Linda person.

I keep getting calls from this number (866-706-1338) .... I only listened to the message once.....  these people are so yesterday with their attemps to make $$$
I no longer answer the phone if I do not recognise the caller and have advised all my friends and relatives about that in case they use a phone that I don't recognise
I also get nuisance calls from other similar a**holes

Seem to be A1 collection company.

That number has called me 2 or 3 times .. I wont call it back  and I don't understand how they  got my cell number it isn't posted ...

They call several times a day for a person I don't know have ask them to stop calling but they continue

My ailing father receives calls from A1 CREDIT RECOVERY & COLLECTIONS looking for a female not at the number. I have called A1 CREDIT RECOVERY & COLLECTIONS several times on his behalf to request that they stop calling him as they have the wrong number. They stop calling for a while then pick up again looking for the same woman. Each time I contact A1 CREDIT RECOVERY & COLLECTIONS indicating that they have the wrong person, the calls stop temporarily. It’s very frustrating because it continues again a few weeks or months later. I called the police and they saw no criminal laws have been broken. I have also registered his number on the Do Not Call list with the Federal Government. We have blocked the number but A1 CREDIT RECOVERY & COLLECTIONS now calls from a different number. We are now forced to pay the expense of changing his telephone number and updating all his contacts with the new number. I am so angry that a company can continue to do this time and time again without any recourse. There should be laws against can continue to harass someone especially a senior in poor health creating undue, unjustified stress! I would be appreciative if anyone has any other suggestions on how to permanently stop these calls.

The losers keep calling my old phone number - which no longer rings any phone - but it allows the caller to leave a voice mail.  These clowns haven't figured out yet that their 'robo-caller' is basically reaching a DEAD END and that their annoying phone calls are not reaching my phone - and hence it fails to annoy me ;)

I wonder what the poor jerks will do when even the 'phone message' part of that discontinued service no longer answers them.

Tsk tsk tsk...  thank goodness technology allows us to totally ignore lazy marketers and their banks of robo-callers.   The only sad part is that at some point they will have to lay off all their employees.  Gee I wonder where all these folks with poor English will go for their next job...  Oh... I know... they can become the undecipherable voices that try to take my food order at the local burger joint...

Bottom line to the story... just ignore these fools and eventually they give up on you because there is no profit in not reaching the suckers they are calling to badger, harass and con.   And if you have the luxury, DITCH that phone number or get a new one issued by your phone service provider...  that is like a good kick in their groin ;)

These guys are jerks.  There should be a law against robo-calling people... especially when they don't even know that they are contacting the right party that they are seeking.  I am constantly finding messages left by these jerks and when you waste your time calling them to inform them of their error, it usually results in their stupid robo-calls continuing.  So I don't waste any more time trying to contact them and informing them of their error.  Now I just laugh at their stupid phone number when it shows up in my messages. Good luck losers.  I don't see how you guys make any money when you are apparently so stupid and dependent on a robo-war-dialer to find people to talk with...

Automated call is alowed.by co called crtc .I did picked up the phone and actually talked to some one . There was nothing I said to matter as she didn't care that I just got this number 1 year ago finely I got mad told.her to fof that's when she said she did not care she will keep on calling as many times as she wants and the calls will never stop thats when I got that nice apps called call control works like charm calls and messages are blocked

These guys are such jerks that they operate their war dialer against phone numbers that no longer belong to the people that they are chasing.   I sure hope these losers aren't working on commission because their own worst enemy may be the outdated or re-issued phone numbers being fed to their war dialer.  Losers... ;)

I got this today,says it's not a sales or marketing call. It's actually a call from A-1 collection for my wife who passed away 18 months ago. They have been notified,so I'm not sure why they are trying to call her.

A1 Credit & Recovery, I believe ~ 800notes replies + Googling the # BUTT ...
THEY DO NOT LEAVE THEIR NAME, just call to receive a message ~ their central # will recognize me ?? DOUBT IT = someone wud answer the call!!!

Also, now sending texts ~ never advised anyone that my # is a cell (except friends & family), SOOO guessing they just tried it 2 c & # used 4 text is untraceable = 447-900-1165 😡🤬
