I recently posted on Monster.com looking for Engineering positions. I received a phone call from the above number. In returning the call, I found it originated from Banker's Life and Casualty Co. I hung up when I was put on hold. Tell me, why would an insurance company be calling me about and open positions, when I had never worked in the industry before? I suspect a scam.

Monster post, same call from this number. Scam?

Same thing, posted on monster and within one day I received a VM with this number as the call back for a sales job with Banker's Life and Casualty in Las Vegas.  Very odd.  When I called back it went to a customer service call center and I was to hold for the next available associate.

Same thing, posted my resume on monster and bankers life and casuality called.....Beaware this is a scam!

I have never applied for a job with Banker's Life and Casualty.  However, a person called and stated that I had applied for a position with Banker's Life and Casualty and asked if I was still interested in the job.  I said sure.  They gave me a specific date and time for an interview with a manager.  They did not specify a location but said they would email me the details.  They stated that if I did not receive an email within 2 hours to call 866-713-0041.  The phone call originated from 651-705-2609.  They never sent an email.  I believe this call to be a scam.  I have applied for jobs in the past on monster.com and yahoo-hot-jobs but do not have my resume public on either site.
