GOV Vacation Rewards is a travel agency that somehow got themselves in with AAFES and various company "employee discounts" programs. However, they don't offer any special discounts except for some reduced-price cruises for military members. And it's obvious from their Web site that anyone can "join," not just government employees and military. Now they're calling everyone that has "signed up" with them with an agressive sales pitch for an upgraded membership and "free vacations" for an annual fee of $495. Uh-huh. No thanks.

Got this call July 18th 2011 - said I signed up on June 10th and they put $205,000 worth of savings to my account...

I told him I didn't sign up for anything - "Thank you, Good by"
and Hung up...

they won't stop calling. when i answer they just tell me to hold the line. no live person. ever!

These [***] keep calling me and tonight, when asked where I'd like to go, I told the gal that I'd like to go to the bathroom and take a [***]-- She couldn't believe I said that to her--- so I gave her another dose of good pissed off language and gee--- she hung up!
They call me again, they'll get the same again---

These jerks are associated with a bunch of organizations one of which is the Air Force Association. My number was probably sold to them by the AFA and you can bet that there will be a complaint filed!

Government Vacations Rewards will only call you if you're registered with them. They usually don't bother you if you're not.  If you're bothered by the calls, then either call them back and request no more calls or disenroll from their rewards program. Their employees, some of them, do work for commission and bonuses if they sell you something, just like any other sales associate or sales rep. Be polite to them, like I was (I am enrolled, because they usually give the lowest prices or substantial discounts on flights, car rentals, and hotels) and tell them you're just interested in the free program and don't want any sales calls. They're just doing their job--you  know, like you and me?

And btw, they don't read webpages like this. This is more of a forum for people who GET the calls, not who makes them.

Received call today at noon, did not answer.  Call number to find out it was Government Vacations Rewards which I don't recall registering with them.  Don't want to receive any more calls from them.

I am going to enroll with them, I have a Military Star Card, In case i need too, I can charge it on it.

No interest for 24 momnths , But I usually pay it off every month

Since i am on 100% disability, we went to Hawaii, stayed at the military Hotel ( was OUT STANDING  STAR ALL THE WAY )

Cost was 120.00 per night  NO TAX

Hilton next store 427.00 a night and TAX

I get a harassing call from this telephone number EVERY day!!!

Never Registered with them, Called and Asked for my hubby on my Cell that has no name with it then asked for me... Must Be AFEES is giving out our numbers or something.. Don't even know who they are. I Never give anyone my number :D
