    David's Direct Carpet Cleaning.  Similar to "Ghost," they called last night at 7:15PM PST and again today at 2PM PST.  I spoke to Natalie on both occasions, though her accent strikes me as more Russian than Latino.  I have received approximately a dozen calls from David's over the last several months.  I keep asking them to take me off their list, but they keep phoning.  Always it is Natalie that I speak to.  When I ask for their number, they have at least twice given it to me as 866 713 4956, which is the Capital Access Group.  If you talk to their receptionist, she will tell you they get many calls for David's Carpet, so apparently Natalie is intentionally giving the wrong number out.

    I just got that same call again from Direct Carpet Care. Same info as above.  Natalie.  They called a month ago as well. When I told her I was going to report her to the NDNC then she said.. "I wish you luck with that!" then hung up on me.
    I cannot find them. Wish I could.

    Natalie gave me the correct number once, but at that point she still thought I was a potential customer.  I think she sometimes gives her standard fake (866 713 4956) when the call has gone sour and she doesn't want you bothering them.

    Having gotten about a dozen calls from them, I'm starting to get frustrated.  I'm an attorney if you have any recommendations on what I can do.

    I got a call from Direct Carpet Cleaning few days ago. She said, they have special offer for New Year. I asked her how much for one sofa and she said $49.99. We schedule it for today. When the service man came in, first he asked me how much they code me and when I told him the price, he said it is wrong. Then he called their office and they said it is correct. Then he told me if I want the bacterial cleaning I have to pay more. I said no; please just regular cleaning as we arrange it. Again after few minutes, he said you need to do deep cleaning for this sofa. I said, I do not need deep cleaning. This is a pretty new sofa and I just need regular wash. He was not happy about my resistance. I told him if you guys do not want to charge as you say on the phone, you should not call people. He starts cleaning which practically was just spraying the sofa and he got the entire hard floor around it soaking wet. He wouldn't even move the cushion to clean the sides. I got some towel and I start cleaning the floor. After few minutes, he said, I am done. The sofa was soaking wet and looking horrible. I told him that I asked the lady on the phone and she told me that when you are done this sofa would be just damp. He said, so you did not want the steam cleaning. I told him, yes but she told me that she would clean and dry for that price. I asked him to call the office and I refuse to pay and he started obnoxious language with me and I asked to leave. I call the office since I got number from him while we were arguing and I told the lady about his horrible service and manner and I request for her office address and she just hang up on me.

    NEVER do business with anyone calls you that you don't already know and NEVER EVER let them into your house!

    This is what happens. You're lucky if that's all that went wrong. Make sure these crooks didn't steal anything from your home.

    No one who cold-calls you has anything of value to offer, that's why they are calling.
