Dunno but I just got one from the same number.

Called and greeting was for Windham Professionals. Googled online, they are a full service collection agency.

Have no idea who they are....they keep calling and hanging up. Thanks for the info that it's Windham Professionals though.

These morons had the nerve to call, leave a message for me, claiming I was "named as a reference on an application" and to "please call at your earliest convenience" to a number other than the number that registered on my phone.  This woman, Sabrina, also gave an extension and told me to reference a file number.  Shame on her!!!  Claiming I am a reference on an application, yet gives no name for whom I'm a reference NOR says what company she represents.  Does she not realize she's perpetrating a FRAUD and that messages can be saved for later use when reporting her and her company to the BBB and Attorney General's Office?    

According to the BBB, Windham Professionals has a C- rating, is not accredited by the BBB and has 126 Complaints from those who decided not to stand for this crap and filed.  They have offices in Worcester and Woburn Massachusetts and two locations in Salem, NH.  One Salem address is actually a PO Box.  Most likely never would because of their deceptive and illegal practices.  Just Google them and see all the information come up!

There you have it people....866-871-3281 AND 866-714-0931 ARE ONE COMPANY IN THE SAME!

If they harass you, let the BBB and your Attorney General's Office know and be sure to save any message they leave!

They call everyday, Caller ID says 866-871-3281 but number they say to call back is 866-714-0931 they say they are trying to get in touch with a person who rented a room from me a few years ago, and didn't use my home phone (had his own) but they probably get mine from the address. I don't know where he is now. I am tempted to answer or call back and tell them this, but then I realize they are calling my phone number, from the address, and this was never the person they want's phone number. So they would just ask me for info which I don't know, and even if I did, I don't give out info about anyone,unless I know what it is (and it's like the FBI or something, and they say why (LOL) They can keep calling and leaving messages (important they talk to the person today) forever. It's their time.

I'm paying a debt to them. The department of education actually hired them for school loan i defaulted on. Haven't had any bad experiences with them.

I just got a voice mail on my CELL phone for my daughter, although the guy couldn't get the name right.  Didn't say who he was or what he was calling about.  Just wanted my daughter to call back.  I have news for him. . . .he calls my cell phone again and he's going to find out I work for attorneys and I don't appreciate him using up my cell phone minutes on his crap.

keep calling me stating that they are going to garnish my wages if i do not pay a student loan that is defaulted and I need to send them money from a pre-paid green dot card.

Thankfully, my land line phone has a block caller feature.  Now, whenever they call, the call gets disconnected by our phone. Amazingly, they refuse to update their records, and they keep calling.  So, they keep getting dropped.

How stupid is this company?????
