They try to sell phone-long distance package.
Pathetic.

This number is calling me at least 2-4 times a day. They do not leave messages and when I answer nobody talks to me. It is very annoying. Please help me find out who is it and haow this anoyance can come to an end.

In the last 4-5 weeks or more, I got calls from this number, sometimes even more than once per day. I don't know and I don't know who they are. I have a device (Person-To-Person Telephone Router/ Interceptor) that I use to block these jerks. But I still can see on the dispaly that they tried to ring my phone.

Many calls but no one is there.....  No ID on reverse look-up. Is this Primus?  If it is - then, shame on them!

They do the same to me.  When I answer no one talks.  I've called but no one answers either.  The message says for english or Romanian

I am in similar situation. I received in the last two weeks over 5o calls from the same number. I called back and speak to a lady (Romanian?) called Delia. I ask to be removed from their database, but nothing so far. I would like to file a complain.
I been told the company name is Pulse Telecom.
Does anybody has an ideea where to file a complain?

To everybody who received calls from this impostors. It looks like a scam. Contact police and file a harassment complain. Enough is enough and it is time to stop this. Good luck. That lady answering the phone claims to work for Pulse Telecom but is phony because calling Pulse Telecom at 1 866 847 7720 they denied any relationship with this number.

Hahah, this is messed up. It is Romanian. Im romanian but i would like to know how they got my number. Now Im calling them non stop and not saying anything.

I have the same problem...they keep harassing me with phonecalls. They somehow got my homephone number and my cell phone number.

They also call from: 1 877 622 2662

They are independent agents that work on comisssion and they call you using the ccicompany telemarkenting tools. The don't seem to care how often they call a number...sometimes they call 3 times a day.

How it went...

I was looking at cars at ebay.fr and a very under-price car attract me. I email the guy, he use babelfish or some kind of traductor to speak french with me. He tells me ebay will ship my car for 500 Euro!

In french, it was written : "La voiture arrivera a la porte a droite". It is an exact traduction of " The car will arrive to the door to the right" instead of the right door I would guess... hehe

They want your phone number and harass you after trying to sell you some long distance card. If you buy it, they got your Credit Card number.

The lady who called twice ask me if I speak roman also. Next time I'll try to have a conversation with here if I can :)

Been called inordinate times, called back and was told the same story i.e. calling on behalf of Pulse Telecom. After a number of call backs, I asked an operator to remove my name from the list - she told me that all she can do is put my name on some sort of "do not call" .list, but cannot entirely remove my name.
I also called Pulse Telecom at the number shown in this blog, and had a very decent conversation with a CSR named Nasser, sattion 40 (at 9 pm on 11/19/07). He very politely informed me that he spoke with his supervisor and confirmed my name was removed from the calling list.
I will give it another week or so, and if they call again will file a harassment complaint with the Police.

Got Calls from same number 1-866-718-7016 and it is getting very frustating. I think I will file a complain with the police after I request twice to be removed from their marketing database.

Pick up the phone and they hang up! sooo annoying.....

We informed them that we would like to be on the no call list (standard procedure as per CRTC) but they keep calling.

I have had enough. I live in Calgary and the number also came up as 1234567892. I have complained to telus and the people calling me from this number. It is indeed Pulse Telecom. Each person from Pulse has promised to remove me from the "List". Well its been about 6 months with call all day everyday. I have finally called them and spoken to a "Telemarketing Manager". His name was Tony, he refused to provide a last name. After threating him with a call to the Police he assured me that i have received my last call ever from them. We will see. If I don't post again it means its been taken care of. Otherwise you'll hear more from me.

What really gets me mad is that my phone provider Telus, wont really do anything about it... for free.

So here I am a little while later. Not sure if anyone reads this thing but here is an update. The last time I wrote i called Pulse telecom. I havent gotten any calls back from them until today.

Hi all, I found this page by searching on "Pulse Telecom telemarketing" but to me the number comes up as "blocked call" or 123-456-7892.  

I live in BC and I'm with Telus too. In addition to the 11 nuisance calls this week from the mysterious 123-456-7892 number, Telus call me weekly to market their services and I'd requested 4 times to be taken off the call list. Yesterday there was a breakthrough finally someone didn't just say yes and ignore me, they actually went through the motions of removing us from the list, AND the third party calling list! It seems that Telus is happy to sell our phone numbers to other companies who could potentially turn around and sell them on to someone else.

Today when I got called - we get 2-3 calls per day - they asked to speak with my boyfriend (whose name is on the Telus bill) and I asked who was calling and he mumbled something, so I got him to repeat where he was calling from and the address, he said he was calling from "Pulse Telecom" of (mumble) 27th floor Bay St Ontario. I did a search on Google including Bay St and found their full address which is:

I also found that they are recruiting home agents to work for them so presumably the people calling are independent agents who might not call you again themselves but there are plenty of other agents who will. They also have an office in Australia.

Are you all still getting called? I have had eleven calls from 123-456-7892 according to my call display. We have tried ignoring them answering and telling them not to call and I've tried calling Telus but they said that I should just use a caller block but some of my family lives overseas so I don't want to stop them being able to call. There must be something we can do short of suing them for annoying us constantly. :)
