I got a call from this number and could not return it and they did not want to say who they were....who are they

I recieved call from this number and they said I owed them money.......they were right.....so.....I saved the number in my phone under NO! Dont Answer...... Freddie Jay

Just got a call From LORRI with Great Expectations a dating service I supposedly just signed up for. I replied, Please don't call this number again.

I got a call from this number asking for Chris, but it's not me...

Last time they called me I screamed into the phone really loud! apperently they dont like that because they havnt called again!  Try it,its fun!

Asked for someone else who lived in the house; wouldn't tell me who they were or where they were calling from.

When I told them that the person they were looking for wasn't home, they didn't reply, just stayed on the line. To make sure the no-so-brilliant woman on the other end of the phone heard me, I repeated myself and said, "hello?" to which she replied, "Hello? Is _____ there?"

Calling the number back only results in an error message. [***].

It's never rung enough for me to answer. They let it ring once then hang up? I've gotten this call several times. Ugh.

I have received several calls from this number but I am never available to answer when they call. Is there a do not call registry for these guys?

I've received several call attempts from this number on my cell phone. Yesterday I decided to answer and they hung up.

I got 5 calls from this number ALL within 17 minutes!! Persistent [***]!!

Called and asked for a person's name that wasn't in the house. Pretty much the same as the results from the other callers. I'm pretty sure the person on the other end of the line was close to Blonde; I couldn't ask `cause she hung up on me.

Where do these people come from????

I keep getting calls from this number and it rings once or twice and they hang up. Cant call back on it. Who is this?

Hi Everyone, thanks to "Return the favor", I have called the number. I spoke with the wife, who seems nice and unaware of the phone calls made to all of us. The calls are so unnecessary, as they never ask a question beyond your name! I wish John Meriggi knew what a bunch of idiots he has on the payroll. lol

Actually there are several owners of Great Expectation around the country, so if the number is tied to that company it could be any location. I use to work for Bob Perkins & Paul Zieter @ the Houston Great Expectations. It is a Franchise.......... I rather doubt that they would call and just hang up on anyone. It appears that it could be a collector or law office from what I have read on the post.

It sounds like other people who have gotten calls from this number have said it is a bill collector or law office. Dodn't be so quick to jump to conclusions, you know what they say when you ASSUME?

I received a call from this number at my office through our answering service.  All the person would say was that her name was Emma (would not leave her last name) and that the call was regarding personal information that I wanted.  I asked the answering service to take a message because the only Emma that I know is 9 months old.

This guy was from Amore dating service.  He asked for me and said that I had a profile on an on line dating service and wanted to know if I was still single. At first I couldn't figure out if he was trying to ask me out or what. I asked him how on earth did he get my phone number.  He was like, no I am not asking you out. I asked if he thought this was legal, the type of solicitation he was doing and he said, look I an only doing my job. I told him to make sure he told his higher beings that I was going to be looking into this matter.
