I got a text message which appeared to be a "security notice" generated from F & M Bank asking me to contact their "secure phone line" at this number.

I got the same message.  Don't know what this is for.  I don't even bank with F M Trust

I received the same text, I don't really have any reason that they should be alerting me for security reasons.

text from Downey Savings Security Notice, I don't bank with Downey Savings looks like a SCAM text going around. servicecenter@downeysavings.com from 36245 which looks like from Facebook.

Yes, same text at 927am this morning 7/11/10. Text about Downey Savings, interestingly I think Downey Savings and Loans has been purchased now by US Bank and is now known as US Bank as of May 18th.  I did not have an account with Downey S&L.

**FYI** These 36245 text emails are coming from AT&Ts SMS Gateway (not a techie so don't actually know what that means) but if you websearch '36245 text messages' it shows numerous complaint's and some post's explained it was coming through AT&T SMS Gateway. Numerous AT&T customer's have called and complained to AT&T about these SPAM TEXT EMAILS but AT&T says they cannot do anything to stop this, not surprising there.

They are Text Emails being sent through AT&T SMS Gateway.
