Wow biggest scam. I got a call from a process server saying he was at my house and wanted to serve me papers and wanted to know where's a good place to meet. I tell him that I have no idea what he's talking about and then he tells me to call S&P group and talk to Steve Taylor. I talk to him and he tells me I owe him debt from almost 10 years ago. Tells me they'll split the debt in half if I could pay half today and half next month. I tell him I filed for bankruptcy earlier this year and he said this one fell through the cracks. I talk to my attorney and he tells me that's illegal and it's a scam. The service verification guy then calls my work and asks for my boss and says he'll be here in 15 to serve me unless I make a payment to S&P. This is a scam. Please no one fall for this! This number is a scam. There is no such thing as S&P law group. Steve told me he can't give any info because it's a private firm. That is a lie. I had a lawyer friend look it up to and told me that doesn't exist. It's sad what these people to do normal people. They're con artists and they mess up people's lives without a second thought,

Yup. That is the Process Service Scam.  Very popular right now, all they need is a couple of cell phones.  Good that you did not get trapped.

Since you got this call, you can expect others.  There are phony IRS and Social Security Scams that run about the same way.  The more you question them, the faster the scam falls apart.  They rely on scaring you with threats. One way to get around the process service scammers is to say you will meet them at your local police station or a county courthouse.  Those are not places these crooks want to be near.

I called this number yesterday because they called a family member of mine saying that I had a pending case and I needed to pay.. I called and they tried to use scare tactics but they failed I called them back all day just to mess with them.. someone named billy and someone named Leonard.. stupid ppl
