This is 'Northern Pacific' based in Winnipeg, they said I've been 'selected' as soon as I give them personal information, then they'll say what you've won.  I asked him where he got my name and number and what's his website and he hung up on me.

The 1st time I received a voice msg (I wasn't pay much attention on the called ID)inform me I need to call back, so when I called back and try to find out the reason that they call, the lady was really rude and refuse to answer any question I asked, then she hung up.

Yesterday was my 2nd time received a similar call (with call display showed 1-866-744-5213). As the last person report, they claimed that the company is 'Northern Pacific' which based in Winnipeg MB. They said I I've been 'selected' to won some price, but before they disclose the price, they need to ask me some questions, which included some personal info. I answered couple basic questions then the lady ask some more indepth question, I refuse to answer, and her tone of voice became very rude, she said, "I just ask you this simple question, nothing is personal..." When I said I am not interested, she hung up on me.

I just got a call from this number on my cell. I missed it. I got one on my home phone and it was a boat horn and a message saying I have won a boarding pass and then I hung up.

This number calls me at least 2 times daily. The person is extremely rude and when i ask for them to stop calling my home they hang up on me

I just got a call from this number. Some gal was singing a song. Then she hung up.

I called them back after they had called me and i yelled at them not to call my number again. they will not stop calling me now and after i had not answered them after a few days they continued to call. DO NOT sigh up for the free sears $500 thing or anything online unless you know it is legit.

A computer called your telephone-number. When you (or your answering-machine) picked-up the call, the computer transfers the call to the "next-available" telemarketer, but this takes a few seconds.  So, what you hear is "dead-air" until the telemarketer picks-up the call from the computer.

The "dead-air" is the clue that you should hang-up.
