Computerized voice left message.  It used a shortened, misspelled version of my middle name that I have only seen from the collection agency that's been after me for an unpaid loan.

They are always asking for Mike and they mentioned his reference number (599002). There is no Mike in this house. There never was Mike in this house. It is annoying. We who live in this house do not owe money to anyone. I wish they would stop calling. Obviously, Mike has provided them with the wrong number or something.

It is a Collection Agency.

I never answer this call, but they call between 7:30 and 7:50 AM.

Try to convince you that they are caling regarding an old debt that they are trying to collect.  They call random numbers trying to collect personal data (SIN, Date of birth, address, etc.)  They collect your information via contests that you enter online and other online applications.  Best thing to do is just not answer the call.  It may be annoying but having to clean up identity theft will be even more annoying.  They will eventually stop calling you but it can take up to a year before they give up.  Also if you do have a debt outstanding you should not give any personal information to any debt collection agency since you may not know if they're legit or not.  Best thing to do is contact the credit agencies first to find out what your credit score is and see if there is in fact a debt on your file.  This number calls for my sister every day for the past 4 years and always fills up our answering machine with automated msgs with ref# to quote upon call back.  Of course we never call them back since we've checked her credit file and she has no reported debts.  They're eithergoing after her soley based on a coincidence with her name or they are attempting to convince her she has an imaginery debt in order to gain her personal info.  BEWARE!

this number calls 2 times a day.they don`t say anything.this has been going on for 2 weeks know.please have them stop calling.its very annoying.

These people have been harrassing me for 3 yrs. regarding a student loan which was forgiven as I became very ill.  It's been over ten years since I went to college.  I hadn't heard from them since last February, 2012 when they threatened to keep my income tax return which isn't much as, due to my illness, I've had to go on disability.   In December, they started phoning and sending letters once again.  I haven't made a payment before so where the hell do they think I'd have money for them during the most expensive time of the year.  They have not stopped harrassing me and they call me up to three times on some days.  How do I get these idiots off my back once and for all.?  If anyone has information on how to get rid of them, I would totally appreciate it.

They have called twice while I was charging my phone.  Very annoying.

NCO - ITS A SCAM .. i actually wanted money on these guys! $75 and when i called student loans to see why my amt owed had not changed - thy had no clue what i was talking about. They have been calling me now for like 2 years and at this point my Provincial OSAP is completely paid off! They sent me a letter from CRA stating that I had to no longer pay. They STILL call and are SO RUDE TO ME AS THEY  [***] LIE. Its crazy and please do not pick up their calls.
