Left a message with a reference file number for my ex about a "complaint". Called and told them he never had this number. They quickly said they would remove my number from the file and hung up on me.

Called my cell phone and work ! Left a message and I called back nothing !

Called saying I  have been served and if I don't call legal action will go forward, had the same call different person last year. Total scam

Yep, total scam. Real process servers don't call in advance.

Did they say what they were calling about? They gave me 24 hours to call them and they called me a name that I haven't gone by in 30 years bc I divorced

They call claiming to be process servers and that if you pay off some alleged debt, they won't serve you. But as I stated, this is a scam. Real process servers don't call in advance.

Did they give you their name and what kind of complaint that it was
